I booked 3 nights and I was very happy with the service , the place is very clean, 10 min walk from the bus, beach, minutes walk from shops and the night market. The design is very unique, the owner built everything himself, the wood work gives a nice touch, the bathrooms and showers are spacious, the common area has nice set up, with kitchen, sitting area and tables where you can easily work too.The owner was very nice, helpful, gave plenty of recommendation for everything, speaks good English and always happy to help. The bike shop close by gives discount for renting bike. The forest park is very close by and worth few hours of biking with amazing views of the lakes and beach. I watched sunrise from the beach , I was able to do laundry for free, enjoy free coffee and tea on the terrace. The location is perfect, very clean place, the owner itself does the deep cleaning, the bed super comfortable, with desk, lamp and shelf. Definitely it's a great value!

We only spent a night there but the facilities and room were really great ! The location is also good, close to the night market 😊

What a great hostel! The amenities - the bedrooms and showers - are stylish and cozy. There are free drinks - tea bags and coffee and a water dispenser (there is also a fridge in the lobby). But the highlight for us was the attitude of the owner and the receptionist - both spoke very good English and sat down with us to give us hints on what to see in and around the city, where to rent a scooter etc. which saved us a lot of time! I think it's the best hostel I've been to so far! Thank you so much guys!

I booked this hostel last minute for the March Taitung Marathon. It's about a 23 min walk to the park, but 5 min scooter ride.

The hostel owner is super nice, and the hostel is cute, well-organized, in a great part of town, and comfy. I was in the all-female dorm which was great (outlets aren't the most convenient in the room, though). Bed was great and comfortable, although no privacy curtains like some other hostels in Taiwan.

Very glad that the toilet is separate from the shower (no problems of people hogging the shower and then not being able to use the toilet). The showers look nice, but look like they would be difficult to clean thoroughly, especially with how humid Taitung gets. I didn't stay in the mixed dorm, but it's basically an open room so that might bother some people. No lockers and no towels, but this didn't bother me.

Overall good price for what you get. Comfy and clean from what I can tell.

The attention to absolutely every single detail is unreal.

The owners of this hostel are not only 100% bilingual Chinese/English and so kind! but you can tell they have traveled and stayed in many hostels themselves because every single thing has a helpful purpose.

The bed had a fold down table, a small lip under the outlet to hold what you were charging, a bar to dry your towel/beach stuff that wasn't over anyone's bed, the shower even had male/female smelling body soap.

Haha and you can not beat the location. If you are looking for a hostel in Taitung this should be an easy yes.

This man who managed this place was super kind and helpful getting us checked in stuff. The facilities are clean and nice. The man helped me with my phone and gave us a great dinner recommendation!

The stuff is great and the hostel is at the middle of the city and accommodations are very good!

Really chill and cheap. Would stay again.

老闆設計房子內裝有很多巧思，還可以洗衣脫水。床鋪還有放個人小物的小檯子

空間雖然小
但是設計有巧思
洗澡吹頭髮在一樓不會吵到二樓睡覺的地方
房間也算舒服

環境安靜整潔，不用花太多時間走路到附近的景點，附近就有餐館跟超商，還有早餐店。算生活機能不錯的住宿。

超級推薦到不行，來台東市別住其他地方了，就住這，空間舒服地段精華價格便宜！！！一個晚上500有找，走3分鐘就到市區最熱鬧最多食物的地方，走到鐵花村也不用10分鐘，公車站也在旁邊，可以去知本、鹿野、池上等都方便，有什麼理由不住這？

老闆雖然親切但也保有自己對青旅的堅持，會帶旅人一一介紹環境，從很多小細節看得出非常重視這個空間，在讓旅人感到舒服跟保有老闆自身想法之前拿捏的很好。環境佈置的漂亮整潔，能在有限的空間做出機能超完整的環境真的猛。

（以下開始分別介紹環境，也給一些小建議，真的是雞蛋裡挑骨頭，已經很棒了但總有能更進步的地方）

1. 廚房有冰箱、烤箱、微波爐、流理台、餐具（有水果刀跟砧板可以使用超級棒）、杯子、飲水機、食物暫存區（有無開封都不可帶進房間），旁邊就是垃圾桶，有一般垃圾、回收跟廚餘，可說是應有盡有，動線設計順暢又整潔，餐桌總共有四個位子（餐桌還有一個可以爬上去翻滾的上鋪，超級舒服），但可能是因為之前疫情的關係餐桌有放防疫隔板，不知道未來會不會拿掉，或用餐也可以到交誼廳有沙發跟茶几，另外沒有在餐桌或廚房看到抹布，用完餐蠻需要的，或可能我自己沒找到。

2. 交誼廳沙發上面的牆都是CD、書跟電影，在不打擾其他旅人的情況下都能自己播放，電影也能投影。CD的內容超級有料，看到「那我懂你意思了」、「透明雜誌」、「糯米糰」等，真的要哭出來，超級值錢的一面牆，如果不是不接待訪客，老闆的品味真的很適合在一樓結合獨立書店。

3. 淋浴間（三間）、洗手台都在一樓，跟二樓的寢室隔開不會影響到休息，還備有兩台洗衣機超方便！淋浴間放盥洗用品的層架超夠，蓮蓬頭是霧化的，出水量夠也不會噴的到處都是，而且很可愛的是沐浴乳還有分男用跟女用XD，吹風機有兩支，風很小跟蓮蓬頭一樣溫柔，但吹風機溫柔就不是優點了，最後就直接不吹。

4. 廁所一樓二樓各兩間，感應燈會在門關閉時亮起，洗手台就在水箱上方，整個就是方便到不行😍，不過廁所內沒有洗手乳這點要注意一下，一樓是還好可以去洗手台洗，希望可以在二樓的廁所添加🙏

5. 房間分女宿跟混宿，房間非常的乾淨整潔，我住的是女宿，有八個床位，是上下舖的設計，每個床位都會有四個衣架跟兩個掛鉤，除了折疊的小桌子外，希望在床尾能多釘一個層板，下舖是還好東西還能放地板，但上鋪就只能放床上了，只住一個晚上應該不太影響，但兩天以上的話會希望有個平台能放保養品等每天會固定用到的東西。插座只有一個真的不夠用，如果只能一個的話，希望能夠改成三孔插座，不然沒辦法使用轉接頭或延長線，真的不太方便😓不過還是要稱讚一下毛巾桿的設計超級棒！

6. 最後大讚外面的陽台，會有貓過來吃飯！我看到的有兩隻黑貓跟兩隻玳瑁貓，都是我最愛的花色😍是老闆自己在照顧的！會餵他們吃飯跟吃藥，真的非常有愛心～

7. 喔對了，這邊採光很讚，一樓是落地窗，寢室白天也會有陽光照進來，花窗加上床位透光的簾子並不會被亮醒，卻是白天不開燈亮度也充足的房間

1⃣老闆+闆娘可能與設計領域或產業相關，設計細節很多
2⃣ 老闆把洗澡間、洗衣機、用餐區、交誼廳集中放在1樓，2樓原浴廁只限馬桶功能不開放淋浴盥洗，確保了2樓寢室間的休息安寧
3⃣空調夠力很好睡，位於臨路三角窗區位但噪音對我而言並不明顯
4⃣一樓飲水機有冷冰水供應，很讚
5⃣ 不能在規定時間提前讓大家check in 或寄放行李，這點大家注意一下
（作客者要尊重規定，其實我自己也提早到想先放行李騎機車去逛，但老闆因防疫不方便，我也不勉強，反正旅行原本就應該要隨機應變）
6⃣ 男生老闆解說很仔細；不喜歡過份客制化的禮貌或熱情，君子之交淡如水反而好
7⃣ 第2次入住，空間清潔維持的很好（一般經營者在半年到1年內會懶惰退化），甚至廁所裝潢又進化了，用金屬浪板當牆壁還蠻有趣的
8⃣ 路口轉角用餐平台，晚上吃氣味重的食物很適合；黑貓則在旁邊吃牠的貓食😁
9⃣ 看google 地圖評論，老闆與住宿者的意見互動溝通，我是比較贊成老闆的主張！諸如：
