Taitung Tianhou Temple

Incredible temple to see in Taitung, especially in the evening.

In the new year there are celebrations involving firecrackers and other fireworks.

Really a must-see when in Taitung.

a very worthwhile to visit temple with over a hundred years of history of struggle between the last chinese empire and the aboriginals, then the occupying japanese and the local taiwanese, then the occupying (?) kmt and the local taiwanese again depicting how a source of water became what it is today with great wall writings and variety of Dao deities and of course major focus on Matzu and the old moon grandpa for couples wishing to get married.

Very peaceful place. Make sure you go at night for the lighting. It was beautiful

it's a historic site build back in late 1600's. good place to visit don't matter what religion your coming from. on the site of this temple there'r many street food, mainly cooked in old fashion. why not give a try when you visit my home town 😊😊😊

Big temple court and the front of the temple is nicely illuminated at night. The temple inside is interesting and well decorated.

台東【天后宮】解籤很認真也很靈驗的媽祖廟

在市區內，很大很好找。
進去整個人感覺很好，寬敞明亮、舒服感覺的一座廟。

看評論說這邊有月老，籤詩也很靈驗(籤詩只有媽祖主神籤)，所以就也來求一下。
籤詩箱是一個很舊放在靠牆主廳的位置。求完就去解籤處。
以為只是師兄翻籤詩本唸一唸而已，結果師兄問了姓氏、工作、生日等等訊息(如果不想透漏8字不要說生辰沒有關係)，在紙上很認真寫了一些文字(大該等5分鐘)。

一開口就讓我好好做好聽他說話。他一開始分析我的個性，事情未來發展等等，都讓我覺得想給師兄鼓掌。
而且師兄蠻會舉例子跟你說人生道理，不煩不囉嗦、很風趣。
全程解完師兄也不會收費或要你添香油錢~

去台東隔天要騎車跑山跑海的朋友，很推薦來這邊拜個拜請神明保佑喔~

寬闊的廟前廣場側邊可開車進來，附近也有停車場，很方便

這是個很特殊的故事，第一天去台東看熱氣球嘉年華會時就有機會看到馬祖神像，在於晚上逛夜市時又遶到天后宮！所以專程來到這裡拜拜！求平安健康！

進去拜拜，看看聖母娘娘，因為當年我大學畢業論文寫的主題就是台灣民間信仰「媽祖」，所以每到一處若知道有媽祖廟的話，都會想要進去參拜。
