Dulan Sugar Factory Café and Art Gallery

I'm so glad to have been here, it was one of the nicest places that I visited in Taiwan. Relaxed atmosphere, great cocktails and that particular evening there was even a bonfire going. 🔥
The art objects sold by the local collective are probably the most authentic souvenirs you can find and even the interior of the old sugar factory alone is worth a visit. 5/5 would recommend!

A must visit place with cafes, quirky stores and an even quirkier sugar factory with exterior and machinery intact which turns into a live performance stage for local artists on Saturdays... We visited on a weekday and enjoyed spending an hour there.

Come here at night, a drink in highway 11 made my day in dulan.. will miss here.

This review is just for the cafe situated at the entrance, as you enter immediately on your left. This place has the most exceptionally delicious house burger, fabulous. The burnt sugar latte is also tip top. Expensive but forgiveable in my opinion. I passed several times and it was closed, I wonder if it's one of those places that opens when the owner feels like it, or if it just has unusual opening times which I hadn't noticed. If you sit outside and face east, you can see the sea while you eat. Despite Taiwan being an island, this is a pretty rare opportunity!

Nice Cafe

Sugar factory is okay but love the souvenir shops, art gallery and the bar. they have live music performances at a bar sometimes and people are so kind and nice.

This is an old factory turned into a hand craft and art store. Beside it is a bar and infront there is an open jam during the night.

It's silent and comfortable. The ice pops there are also very yummy. It's a good place to visit.

This place is great, really interesting pieces of art and unique enviroment. The homemade beer was also amazing!

Don't need to eat the ice bar, but good place to walk and have photo with, picnic too!

When in Dulan this is the place for lunch. Great food, big tables, laid back atmosphere and even a nice loo. An English Menu as well.

Nice cafes, artworks and a great recording studio to play the drums.

The dumplings and side dishes here are scrumptious! Interior is very natural also.

If you're in Dulan, visit the art galleries during the day and come back for the music performances at night.

Very cool place with good food, art and live music every Saturday!
