A clean, air-conditioned Laksa place. Quick and helpful service.

Food-wise, we ordered:
+ Laksa Lemak and Assam Laksa, both of which were relatively good. Flavors weren’t too strong/fishy. There weren’t much protein toppings though, it felt almost vegetarian to me.
+ Chicken Lor Bak was great, best of the meal for me
+ Treasure rolls were ok.
+ Bubur Cha Cha was pleasant, not too sweet; but at the end of a full meal, the sweet potatoes and coconut milk might feel a bit too much for one person consumption.

Delish!!! A local friend recommended this “clean” laksa and it was simply delicious!! We had the Penang Assam laksa and the Lemak Laksa. I really enjoyed the assam one with crispy prawn cracker. The gravy was perfectly balanced, thick with the fresh taste of herbs, tamarind and fish. Every mouthful you can taste the variety of herbs and fresh fish that had gone in. Bits of pineapples, the scent of lemongrass and the freshness of the fish without any of the “fishy” taste.
The Laksa Lemak was coconutty but also really light at the same time. So fragrant and creamy. We washed it down with their signature Laksa Mojito, a def MUST order. The lightly sweet flavours of pineapple, fresh lime and cucumbers with speckles of ginger flowers, lemongrass and slivers of cucumbers and pineapple makes this drink soooo refreshing in a sweaty hot day.
I def will be back to try their Nasi ulam, desserts and other laksa mixes

A lovely, clean restaurant that has won a few awards.

Ambiance: 4/5 nice, clean, and a vibrant atmosphere!

Service: 5/5 very friendly workers who helped recommend some dishes for me!

Food: 4.5/5

Nyona Laksa Lemak with Prawn Cracker - amazing! I loved the soup flavours (and I’m not even a soup person) and the cracker was the perfect crunch to dip it with the soup. I highly recommend getting this dish if you like soups!

Chicken rolls - 3.5/5 - they were nice and crunchy but I didn’t love them. Still good though, don’t get me wrong!

This cozy café in Penang is a hidden gem for Laksa lovers, offering both the tangy Assam Laksa and the creamy Lemak Laksa to perfection. Alongside, the delightful treats of Cendol and Sago Gula Melaka make for a perfect end to a flavorful meal.

Excellent laksa (both assam and lemak), excellent cendol, prompt and friendly service, and a really cool laksa poster showing everything that goes into a bowl. Great value too given the restaurant setting and high quality, RM41 for two people. Best meal we’ve had in Malaysia so far!

In the sea of Nyonya options in Penang, including some Michelin-recommended ones, Laksalicious stands as our unrivaled favorite! The magic lies in its freshness—void of any undesirable fishy or prawn odors, yet bursting with flavor in every bite. Each dish we sampled outshone Penang's best, achieving a flawless balance of sweetness and spice. While it leans towards the pricier side, but it worths every penny!

I highly recommend this restaurant. All the dishes we ordered were literally succulent. The price was cheap too.The best laksa I've ever tried so far in Asia. The food was so nice that we ordered nearly half of the menu. We had curry Assam laksa and sour nyonya laksa, crispy prawn fritters, curry puff, spring roll, chicken roll popiah, nasi ulam. We also took 2 nice deserts, the Sago Guma Malacca was delicious.. must try.
Finally 2 refreshing drinks without added sugar: passion lemon and the speciality of the restaurant Laksa Tea, fantastic.

The service was really good and fast.

Laksa was delicious, super fresh and well presented in a very modern, clean environment. A little pricier than others I've had in the city but well worth it! Thankfully they offer a veggie option with and without onion - good to see they cater to Buddhists/Hindus as well as onion lovers

Asam laksa, ulam, cendol are tasty. Laksa fish broth is full of umami and thick. The broad noodles are soft and easy to eat. The fritter is a +. Compliment the bowl of laksa. The ulam is my first try. Very positive, quite like it. The cendol is fragrant and the gula melaka is generously thick and the red beans are soft. Gula Melaka Vietnamese coffee is nice too. Ambience is clean and bright. Really laksalicious! My asam laksa and cendol place to go to. Try it and fall in love with it!

To be honest, not easy to get a decent laksa in penang. However, you can trust in laksalicious. They are really delicious.

Fried Cempedak Roll is exceptional!

The laksa is really well prepared! Tried both the original and lemak versions and liked them both despite not being a person who appreciates fish. We had their spring rolls, chicken lor bak and cempedak rolls and they were all equally great. The only thing that I didn’t really like was the sago dessert as it only looked nice and pretty but wasn’t that good taste wise.

Special shout-out to their signature laksa tea! Didn’t think I’ll enjoy it as much as I did.

Third visit to this place, the second time we forgot to add the prawn sauce to the noodles and it caused a huge difference to the taste of the laksa, so don't forget the sauce before eating laksa!! It changes the whole flavour. The mixed nyonya laksa is the most delicious😋 especially eaten with the prawn crackers, so tasty! The dessert bubu cha cha and yam are must-try👌🏻 Cendol so so, too much coconut sugar (personal preference)

Must try in Penang. Super good ! With all the blend of flavours, gives you a sense of fulfillment.
If you like your food not too spicy, get the Nyona Laksa Lemak, it's already a bit spicy.

A very relax cafe with great Christmas theme music during our visit. The chendol is made with a perfect balance and not too sweet. The twist of using chicken for the Lor Bar is really delicious. The Assam Laksa is refreshing and not saucy and simply delicious !
