We visited Komtar for their newest indoor park attraction, The Top.
Easiest way to get here is via Grab. Hell to look for parking around here.
Got observation decks on level 65 and 68
Great dinasour park and science discovery lab. If you decided to do The Top, expect to stay at least half a day. If not wont worth your ticket money.
Komtar has become a worthwhile spot to visit now.
Very recommended for family vacation.

The rainbow skywalk is fun , very great view at the top. The place is well maintains, everything is clean & look new . The worker there is very polite & friendly. At the top you can see whole penang night view, really recommend to the people who like the night view. They limit the customer that go top the top,so the top floor area is no so crowded. Is great place for couple to take some photo.The car park look old , when i pay for my parking ticket the machine won't accept any of my money, i have try all the machine but non of them work,i just buy something inside the mall them get some smaller bill to pay for my parking ticket. The light in the parking lot is very dim , & some light at the stairs is not working it seem very dangerous

A must visit place when u r in penang. In fact the building is so tall u cant miss it, where u go u can see it. I used it as my navigational benchmark when i was roaming this beautiful city. Komtar has got loads of activities to do for all age groups, good food and various activities. Its a complete package. The top has got the skywalk which is wonderful. Below that is the observation deck. Its better to take the combo pack tickets for all as its gets really cheaper. Most of the activities are for the kids but still is fun to do once in a while. An enjoyable place to be is all.

Is the iconic building and also the landmark in Penang.Youncan find Popular Book Store, local restaurants, KFC, ICT Komtar, The Top Komtar and some stores here. Most of the floors in between are rented to government departments so it is not open for tourist.

After a confusing start to the tour it was one of the best things we did in Penang.
Finding the right way in was not easy. One tourist and two receptionists pointed us in the right direction.
The action heroes in the hall were fun to identify.
The elevator ride was interesting and the history of the tower on arrival to the observation deck was informative.
The rope walk looked terrifying.
The views were amazing.
The music in the bandstand was confusing.
All in all well worth the entrance fee and I would highly recommend this.

There is a rooftop viewpoint which provides me an excellent 360 degree view of Penang. It costed 93 MYR in my case, too much for admission fare. Except for rooftop viewpoint and bus terminal, there is almost nothing interesting. Further marketing and promotion is needed to attract much more customers.

Local post office in the town. Located in Komatar's UTC building. Easy to find and park.

Amusement & foods are available.. For sure your kids will be blown up with things to be discovered.

Visit this place in term of business trips. Enjoy this place full day. Admission fee is acceptable rm61 for mykad holder and non mycard is 74. Make sure to empty your slot to visit this place and only because there is alot of attraction inside. This place is for whole family to enjoy until it break your bank (if you have a big family, lol) the main attraction is the top at lvl 68, which place is the tallest building view in penang plus for who seek an andrenaline can try bungee jump here. From here you can see until Butterworth and tanjung bungah also pulau jerjak. Best aerial view in daytime. Other than that go to dinosour park, 7d theater, mirror park, and alot more, total of 9 or 12 attraction. With daypass you can go in and out from this place anytime no problem. Recommended to waste family and friends time. Instaworth, Will come again. Thanks.

Very nice place to visit. Maybe the one only high rise building in Penang Island. The very top floor is in 68th. Actually it's a Complex called Komtar or Kompleks Tun Abdul Razak. There are several building, such as : Bus Terminal, Shopping Mall, Office Building and The TOP Komtar Attraction.

The Top offers good eye view of Penang town and participate in high rise dare devil experience. There is also an aquarium and science exhibit suitable for children.

Its a nice place.. Worth for money.. Foods and the parks are awesome and not only for kids even adults also will enjoy so much. The 🌈 skywalk is the most interesting part..

attraction that have to visit when you are in Penang. dare yourself to get on the bridge and looking down. the scenery is beautiful. it cost RM68 for foreigner to go to the observatory deck and the rainbow bridge.

We enjoyed our short trip! There are some of activity that you can do with your family and friends such as visiting the boutique aquarium, jurassic park for those kids who loves dinosaurs, the rainbow skywalk, sky dining, theme park at the top (should buy the vip ticket so you can play most of everything in the theme park)

This was such a good place to go up for a view of Penang especially when I went up as the sun was going down and into the evening. You can spend as long as you like up there and I would certainly recommend it to anyone who visits. There is a bar and a sky walk bridge to go out on and you have full 360 degree views of the area.

Great place to enjoy the scenic view of Penang Island. I recommend to go to The Top at around 6PM so that you can see/enjoy the twilight. Parking is okay, as there is a dedicated signage to point you to the right direction. Overall, it was a nice experience and will come again.

"The Top of Komtar", one of new spot where can see the Penang city view from level 68. Nice view and good ambience. Kids also enjoy their time here...

When I stood on the roof top of Komtar, it was pretty awesome!! I can see all the nice view of Georgetown with 360° degree...

This building is actually an office. Long time ago, I didn't find any interesting in this building except for waiting a bus or charter a car. Few years ago they renovated it and open The Top Komtar. There are many interesting exhibitions. You can spend your whole day with your family here.
