Do not judge a book by its cover. The signs for this shop will make you *think* it is poor quality when it is actually the best shop in all of Petra.

The owner is very welcoming. When you first enter he will explain how his shop gives the traditional low prices and charges the same amount for locals and tourists, which is true.

The owner is happy to help you find what you want, as well as making good conversation and providing complimentary tea and snacks for no extra charge.

He did ask for me to write this review, but I genuinely believe he deserves it.

We just stopped by for snacks and we were in for a surprise. Absolutely loved the hospitality by Mohammed abs Kais. We ended up buying lot of snacks and scarfs for our day in Petra. Prices are super reasonable too. Definitely stop by here if you’re in Petra.

When I made the research for local supermarkets near Petra, I was surprised to see a local supermarket with 5 stars on average with nearly 1900 reviews!
Now in 3 days visiting it 3 times it kind of makes sense. On the 1st day visited the shop twice and met the owner's brother and today met the owner himself - both of them seem like nice lads and are ready to help you with any questions.
All in all positive vibes.
Regarding prices - for Petra they are decent.

We visited today to buy souvenirs, because my hubby liked the signs of the shop and the good reviews. The owner is very welcoming, gave us some sweets to taste. What I really appreciated is that he let us browse without pushing items. He offered some good deals on snacks and water and the total price was very reasonable.

Highly recommend if, like us, you need some snacks for a full day in Petra.
Owner is wonderful, transparent and honest. Prices are, as the shop name states, normal prices. No extra fees just for being a tourist

Fair and normal price.
I didn’t realize this store is also run by the owner of Supermarket Local Price which is a few steps away from the Petra tourist center until I met the owner again. This is his first store and the one near Petra is his second store.
The staff is very friendly.

It's a very nice shop with normal prices, including groceries and souvenirs. All prices are good. Qais is a very nice guy and helped us a lot. He also offered free coffee for us. Very nice place to buy things.

It’s an amazing supermarket, he was a very kind guy and very generous, he even offered us gifts. Prices are very very cheap compared to other supermarkets.

I am speechless after an amazing experience in this shop. The sales assistant is very kind and generous. Not pushy, just genuinly nice. And the prices are good too :) Don't miss this little shop in Petra.

Really nice store and owner! He showed us how much every item was so we knew how much we were charged. The big bottle of coke was like 0.60JD (so we took a second one 😅)
He also offered to buy us lunch to the day after because he would get normal price (vs us paying 4x the price)

Such a genuine and helpful owner, he went out of his way to spend time with us and help us, he also gave us a very good price for the items we purchased! We were so happy to be treated as family rather than just tourists for once! Highly recommend 👍 good range of items, from snacks to souvenirs

The owner of the shop is very friendly.
Then the most important is the price of his stuff super normal price which good for the tourist aswell.
He has almost everything in his shop I could say super complete.

Wow, when I entered the store, the owner offered me a free coffee. He is very nice and I bought a lot of souvenirs, food and water for only 10 JD! (you can see in the photos below) After I paid, we drank coffee together and had a great conversation. Definitely the best place I visited in Wadi Musa!

We enjoyed our visit to the store and the prices are definitely reasonable compared to the rest of Petra. Our kids also enjoyed their free gifts from the owner.

Good place to get some souvenirs, snacks and things. The owner came over, had a chat, and gave some samples and good recommendations. Would recommend to go here to get your souvenirs because the price is much better than other places we saw.
