Best food I have had in a long time. The man who works there (from Egypt) treated us so well. We were offered so many appetisers, free tea and dessert. And then he asked us if we wanted more! We were so full when we left. All the food we had was delicious. Would recommend to try if in Petra.
Thank you for the amazing dinner!

My favorite restaurant in Jordan. Abdul's customer service is amazing. You can eat traditional Jordanian food at a reasonable price. The mint tea after the meal was also great. I'll go tomorrow too

They got complimentary appetisers as well as dessert + peppermint tea. You only need to pay for the main course and they are very large in portion! Highly recommended you to go.

we got a lot of free appetizers, tea and dessert. Don't worry, it is really free if you get it. It was really great and Abdul was the nicest and funniest waiter.

My wife and I dropped by here for some grub, and we were really happy with it! It was our first proper meal in Jordan, and it hit the spot just right. Can't remember the name of the super friendly guy who served us – he was from Egypt – but he was a real gentleman. He hooked us up with some extra dishes to try and even packed up more food for us to munch on later!

The food itself was delicious, and we were actually thinking of coming back for more, but visiting Petra totally wiped us out.

My friend and I had a very special dinner here! The waiter offered us a lot of appettizers before starting our dinner. The food was so tasty! We also drank I dont even know how many cups of beduin tea, and, last but not least, a very delicious cake. If you wanna try a very local cousine you dont have to miss this place!

We had dinner at this restaurant. The owner speaks fluently English and German. We took two plates that were very good. We got complementary salads as starters and complementary tea and sweet. The owner was very nice. The waiters always caring and polite (special thanks to Abdul). Price was super honest: all what you see in the pictures and a big bottle of water was only 11JOD

The best restaurant I’ve been to in the Petra area. Our host was Abdul. Such a happy and welcoming person. The food was great. Had the chicken and meat mansaf. The meat mansaf was 10/10. The meat was so tender that it was coming apart so easily. He even offered all the appetizers, salads, tea and baklava for free.

10/10 must visit!!

Don’t even think about eating anywhere else.
Just eat here
It’s absolutely wonderful. One of the best places I ate in all my Jordan trip.
Great food. Welcoming staff that make you feel like you’re a guest in their home, more than a customer.

I had the pleasure of dining at Beit Al Barakah during my visit to Petra in July, and I must say it was a delightful experience. Situated in the heart of the small city, the restaurant offers an enjoyable view of the surrounding area, enhancing its overall charm. Ahmed, one of the staff members, warmly welcomed me from the moment I arrived.

For my meal, I decided to try the traditional Jordanian dish called mansaf, and it exceeded my expectations. The flavors were rich and authentic, making it a satisfying choice. As a delightful surprise, the restaurant generously offered me baklava and tea as a complimentary dessert, which served as a perfect ending to the dining experience.

Overall, Beit Al Barakah provided a pleasant dinner that perfectly complemented my visit to one of the Wonders of the World. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a genuine taste of Jordanian cuisine in an exceptional location.

Great restaurant with lovely food and a wonderful owner. We ordered traditional dishes and got big portions and a complimentary combination of salads/side dishes. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and got enough food. Fresh juices recommended. We had a nice chat with the owner who lived in Europe for a while and speaks German. Slow times due to corona unfortunately, we wish them all the best and many guests to come. Hope to revisit some day!

MUST VISIT! I must start with the hospitality and customer service of everyone! Began from the moment I pulled up in assisting with parking. I am not even sure if the person helping knew I was coming to the restaurant, but jumped right in the street to help me maneuver! Escorted us into the restaurant with a great seat on the patio.
We received complementary starters, as well as tea and dessert! The BEST baklava i have had. It was served warm, which was a first for me but delicious! Must order!! The shawarma was well seasoned and very tasty! Large portion! I was filling up on all the amazing salads, so had extra to bring back to my hotel!
Will definitely be back! Thank you!!

Handy location with an open terrace, excellent food, honest prices, friendly and efficient service, good English spoken. The manager welcomed us like his old friends. Their “limun w na3na3” is super quaffable. The complimentary baklava was fresh and flavourful. Wish we had discovered this place earlier.

Such a great place to try the local food and experience the local generosity! Abdullah and the other staff members were so kind and friendly, we tried some delicious hummus, moutabal, tabbouleh, as well as mansaf and maqluba, to finish off with some great tea. You have to go there if you are visiting Wadi Musa!!
