Enjoyed my 2-night stay at the Old Village Resort Petra. Room was comfortable and very spacious with high ceilings and comfy beds, location was perfect, views were amazing and the staff were wonderful. Plenty of choices for breakfast. Highly recommended.

Excellent hotel! It combines a rural experience with a luxurious place and installations.
The service is great! Everybody was smiling, friendly and looking to help. A special mention to Yazan at the restaurant and Anas at the pool.

Buffet at breakfast and dinner was great, with a huge number of choices. And staff was super friendly and helpful. As a suggestion: maybe one drink could be included with the dinner buffet.

The location is on top of a hill, so you get nice views. But is far from the village's downtown.

I don’t leave reviews often, but I had to for this place. From the time we arrived, the service was absolutely incredible. We had a small (very small) issue with our room, and the staff was kind enough to upgrade our room to a better suite. They could not be more apologetic, which speaks volumes to the level of service here. Highly recommend. The pools are also incredible after a long day at Petra

The best food I’ve ever had in the Middle East is in this little village. It’s maybe a mile or two away from Petra the food is amazing. The rooms are amazing clean the people are more amazing. It’s really a must see and do village pools Jacuzzis the rest are the best pastry shops, the best buffets, if you’re ever in Jordan and you wanna go to Petra, that’s the place to stay. I will try to post some pictures.

Absolutely! The Old Village Hotel and Resort is truly amazing! It offers a unique and charming atmosphere with beautiful traditional architecture. The staff is friendly and the amenities are top-notch. It's definitely a must-visit destination!

A beautifully restored and sympathetically renovated hotel, set amongst parts of the original old Petra Village. We enjoyed a lovely night here after a hectic day visiting Petra itself. The facilities and room were superb; clean and spacious with extremely friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended for a 5* accommodation in Petra. Only 3* for its location as you will need a taxi/ lift to and from the entrance to the Petra Visitor Centre, but we preferred this as it offered peace and quiet, away from the crowds close to the Visitor centre.

This is an amazing and unique 5 star hotel in the Petra area. We very much enjoyed our stay here, and it was definitely one of the best hotels that we stayed at during our trip to Jordan and Egypt.
First, it’s called “Old Village” because it actually is an old stone village that was converted into a 5 star resort.
The facilities are great with pools, a spa, a sauna, a good restaurant, and plenty of space to relax and unwind.
Our room was huge, with a separate living room area and large bedroom. The rooms are a little bit rustic, but with all modern amenities like good WiFi, smart TV’s, individual climate controls, and a refrigerator. We were also provided with free soft drinks, water, and snacks.
The room was spotlessly clean, and the large bed was very comfortable.
The staff was friendly and helpful. They made sure that we were happy during our stay.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to others traveling to this area.

The view from the room is breathtaking.

I mean there is nothing to say everything was perfect. Visited for my birthday back in February and still think about it. The staff all came out with a cake singing happy birthday. The staff were always smiling and very helpful. The food was excellent, some of the best I’ve ever had. The resort is a very comfortable place and I could not recommend this enough. Thank you for such an amazing stay.

An amazing and very historical place. The Village resort is located in a very scenic area of Petra and the views are incredible from all sides. The rooms are spacious and bathrooms great. I really enjoyed staying here and ate a delicious meal in their a la carte restaurant. The standard was very high and service friendly and efficient. The facilities here are also of a high standard. I highly recommend swimming in the indoor swimming pool!..

We highly recommend this hotel for anyone planning to visit Petra, the location is perfect, just few minutes walking to start your trip. The hotel it self is authentic and maintained, offering spacious and comfortable rooms. The staff going out of their way to ensure a great guest experience.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay

This is a truly wonderful hotel. We had a standard room, from the moment we arrived every staff member we came across welcomed us and were uniformly pleasant and helpful. The pool was very cold but after 8 hours and 30km visiting Petra it was a delight! I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

The Old Village Resort
Would recommend this beautifully maintained, family run, boutique resort. Built on the site of an ancient Bedouin village, it has a charm and a style not found in chain hotels. Very close to the Petra site entrance (under 10mins by road) Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Food and service good.

We stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is built on the remains of an old city. It gives you the sense of what villages may have been like around the time of Christ. You can walk around or be transported by golf cart to wherever you want to go in the village. Most rooms are out in the village. The staff was very helpful and concerned that our every need was met. The buffet breakfast and dinner was very good and provided an extensive selection of food to suit all tastes. The pools and jacuzzi were spectacular. We ate one lunch poolside. I had one of the best beef burgers I’ve ever had there. By the way, no alcohol is served. However “virgin” cocktails and 0% alcohol beers are available.

We stayed here in early April, 2023. The hotel has wonderful view, friendly staff and nice facilities. We were assigned a room which I wasn’t comfortable in and the manager was nice enough to switch us to a much better room. Everything was fantastic in our room except the bathroom smells. Highly recommended!

I have nothing to say besides thank you to the amazing staff for making our stay a memorable one. Mousa, tareq and literally everybody else are kind and generous people that make this place even more special. I recommend this place to anybody looking for a quiet trip away from the chaos of downtown. A different view to Petra that's only 6 minutes away by car from main entrance to petra.

Excellent place. The peaceful environment and sense of the ancient is beyond words. Amazing, vast, and varied food buffet style. Comfortable, well equipped and served, spacious rooms. Friendly, professional, eager to help staff all around. Nice shops, particularly the little incense and scents one in the lobby area. Top-notch.
