Petra Marriott Hotel

Best experience from all the Marriots' we have stayed in. Hospitality is really outstanding. Rooms are comfortable and great views of Petra mountains from the dining area. We tried the local cuisine for breakfast and dinner and really enjoyed it. There were enough vegetarian options and food was really tasty. The staff are very warm and attentive and catered to all our requests promptly. They also offer a free shuttle to Petra visitor centre. We also availed their spa facilities and had one of the best massages.

Would strongly recommend if you are in the area 😉

By far, best upmarket hotel in Petra with astonishing views of the mountain ranges. Staff goes over and above to make the guests feel comfortable. Chef Hilalat Emad went the extra mile to prepare dishes per our needs. Must try the tasty omelettes that Esra prepares during breakfast! Spa is outstanding - the biggest Sauna I have ever seen! Overall - You will thoroughly appreciate and cherish the time spent here.

A very clean friendly hotel. Staff were all amazing. Very close to Petra with incredible views across Petra from dining room and bars. Good food in the Hala Hala restaurant. Definitely worth booking if you’re visiting Petra.

Hospitality is on point at this Marriott - they were able to accommodate all of our requests, let us use facilities including shower at spa after checkout, hold on to item I left behind…I’ve heard many times at front desk that they are upgrading people’s rooms, and overall really going above and beyond to make sure guests are happy.

Also, even though the hotel is not located in the Petra downtown area, they offer free shuttle service to Petra site 3 times in the morning and 3 times around park closure. Very convenient!

While there’s no gym, the hospitality makes this hotel a true five star and deserves every bit of it! Good job Petra Marriott team!

Stayed at the Petra Marriott for three nights in November 2023.

Beautiful, clean, and charming. Its an older hotel, non-modern aesthetic but that lends to the charm of the space. Public areas were clean and quiet.

Back of the hotel over looks a valley and you can see the Tomb of Aron from afar. Beautiful sunset views.

I want to specifically mention the Restaurant Manager, Yahya Shamaseen and Quis, for their warm hospitality and smilesand who greeted me every time I dined at the hotel. The made special efforts to introduce themselves and were kind and welcoming and wanted to fulfill any special requests that i might have: this is the type of interaction that make you look forward to returning to the hotel every night-- seeing warm faces and smiles. I hope that the manager will recognize their efforts and acknowledge that the hospitality staff are in central to a warm and welcoming experience.

Great experience and service at the Marriott in Petra, wonderful people and scenery. You must see Reda Amarat’s sand art and showing, top class art and craftsmanship. This place is special and the opportunity to see Aaron’s tomb on the mountaintop every time you look out the window to the west. Thankful for this experience and the whole staff’s generosity

My wife and I checked in after 8:30pm and it was pretty easy with no wait. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. Our room had breathtaking views and was well cleaned. We had dinner in the Bedouin tent and that was different to say the least but worth it if you like to try new things. Breakfast was a large buffet with cooked-to-order eggs as well. We stayed just the one night and checked out which was also super easy. Maybe a map is needed for the hotel as it is not super simple to navigate if you’re only in for one night. I would stay again. Highly recommend.

We had a pleasant stay, was absolutely great place to disconnect.. dreamy view .. surrounded by charming mountains.. they have a clean pool too.. I guess it's the best option to choose if you want to sleep in Petra.

service gives this place a 5/5 plus recognition of elite benefits was the best id experienced at any marriott property. Being greeted at our car with a huge smile from Mousa who quickly attended to our bags and assisted us. Front desk staff were great and the hotel manager made us feel extremely welcome greeting us at check in. we didn’t have a chance to use the facilities as we arrived late from petra. Rooms are clean comfortable a bit dated but didn’t feel it with the room additions.

I do not know if it is the magic of Petra or its people .. We had a magical experience during our stay at the Petra Marriott .. Since our arrival at the hotel and our return from the tourist antiquities, all the staff was ready to welcome us as if we were their only guests .. We had the attention of all the staff without any exaggeration , the security, the hostesses, the reception, the technicians .. as if we were One of their families. we encountered a problem with the car, and we were in a difficult situation as it is our only way to return home..without any hassle ..Everyone rushed to help when they noticed the difficult situation we had . The situation reached to the General Manager of the hotel, Mr. Mahmoud Freijat, presented himself and made sure that our problem would be solved and We went to our rooms all confident in solving the problem..with peace of mind after anxiety. The amount of attention and follow-up was wonderful..Thank God, we returned home with a wonderful experience during our stay at the Marriott..Really superior management and distinguished staff..I have been to many hotels around the world..this was Most notably in the service .. everything is wonderful .. the rooms were comfortable and the views of the mountains are stunning. I will definitely be back with my family .

My stay at the Petra Marriott Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel boasts an excellent location with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. One of the highlights was the hotel's swimming pool, which is 3 meters deep - a rarity and a definite treat for those who enjoy a good swim. The pool area was well-maintained and provided a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Petra.

What truly set this hotel apart was their impeccable customer service. We accidentally left an item at the hotel, and the staff arranged to have it delivered to us the very next day to our hotel in Amman. This level of service exceeded our expectations and showed a high level of care and attention to guests' needs.

We spent two nights at the hotel and were extremely impressed by the hospitality of the staff - everyone from reception to restaurant staff to managers really impressed us by the level of service and trying everything to make our stay perfect! Can only highly recommend when visiting Petra

Great hotel, amazing service and hospitality, hotel staff let us check in early which was appreciated. The service was also impeccable. Rooms are nice and modern and fairly priced. Highly recommend.

By far the best place to stay near Petra. Basic place that has A+++ service. Ahmad F at checking was super nice and got us to the perfect room quickly after long travel. The security staff was understanding of me forgetting to scan my bag and helped cary it. Food at Bedouin tent was amazing. Best food in my life and way way too much. Manager Khammes overseas an A++ operation. Server was great. Bar manager was super kind. Would be back anytime. Great team. Good breakfast. Only mixed thing is food at lunch which took a long time and was lower quality. Perhaps Khammes can coach the daytime bar and food team? Overall five stars.

Great stay in Petra with amazing valley views. Hospitality of staff was good.

The hotel location is very good with an astonishing mountains view . They have two restaurants one of them is a Bedouin tent with special Arabic food . We had fun having dinner there . The hotel has free parking and staff is very friendly. This is one of the trademark of Jordanian hospitality.

Service at the Petra Marriott Resort was excellent and I commend every staff there for being extremely accommodating. The view from the pool area is amazing, and the breakfast was above average. Definitely would stay here again
