Orient Gate Hostel & Hotel

We had a very good stay at this hotel. Sure it isn't very modern and the structure is a bit older but the rooms have everything you need. Comfortable bed, warm water, good wifi, clean and spacious. The best part about this hotel is the owner. He is very kind and cares about his guests. If you have any problem just let him know and he will help you for sure! His hospitality is great and we would come here again anytime.

Walking to the Petra entrance is about 10-15 min or you can get a taxi for about 2-3 JOD.

Simple and cheap hotel with all needed in a good position to visit Petra.
Amazing and aboundant breakfast and dinner with really good prices compared with other places in Wadi Musa.
Shabab is always thoughtful for every request and need, always on time with meal time agreed.

For such little money you can't expect any luxury. What really counts is a wonderful approach and a hosting skill of the hostel owner and his staff - be kind and they'll give it straight back to you! Show a little appreciation and they will create an unforgettable atmosphere in one of the most beautiful sights of the world I've ever visited. Petra&Wadi Musa on a strict budget ended up being my favourite destination ever. Greatly coz of the Orient Gate staff & its other guests who stayed over in Feb 2017 xx

Within price range, is a good deal and comparable to other options in town. I liked the way it was relatively quiet at night and the views are excellent at sunset. Management are friendly and the shower was fantastically hot!

Hotel minimal e pulito, vicino a negozietti e poco lontano dal sito di Petra. Abbiamo scelto di fare le colazioni e le cene direttamente lì e siamo stati piacevolmente sorpresi, cibo buono e abbondante ad un buon prezzo, per me (vegetariana) hanno pensato ad una valida alternativa. Il signor Shabab, che ci ha accolti e preparato i pasti è stato gentile, attento alle nostre esigenze e un ottimo cuoco! Consigliato.

Świetna lokalizacja w centrum, 4 min autem na darmowy parking przy wejściu do Petry. Pokoje z lokalnym klimatem oraz pięknym widokiem na miasto i Petre. Pyszne lokalne śniadanie przygotowywane przez gospodarza podawane na tarasie widokowym. Cena adekwatna do jakości. Bardzo miły gospodarz. Polecamy serdecznie ☺

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, w samym centrum. Klimatyczne pokoje, które zawierają klimatyzacje i łazienkę. Przepiękny widok z balkonu oraz z jadalni na dachu. Miła obsługa, bardzo polecam! 🙂

Un lugar perfecto para estar una noche después de andar en Petra. El húesped Omar me ha acojido como una local más. Es perfecto para los caminantes que no buscan lujosos hoteles y sentirse como en casa.

Muy, muy buen hotel! No por sus instalaciones, que son modestas, decentes y limpias; es un gran hotel por su personal, atento, servicial y dispuesto en todo momento a ayudarte y aconsejar en tu viaje. Recomiendo al 100%.
