Petra Palace Hotel

Haven’t stayed in the hotel rooms but it’s a calm and beautiful place to enjoy a cup of tea after exploring Petra. Super central location, friendly staff, excellent fresh mint tea

Petra Palace Hotel is an excellent choice for those visiting Petra. The hotel is modern, clean and well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well-appointed with all the modern amenities. The location is perfect for exploring the ancient city and the views from the hotel's terrace are breathtaking. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Petra.

The proximity to the gates of Petra is about a 4 minute walk!! The breakfast buffet is free. The dinner buffet is 12 JOD. Both are pretty good. The service is good and friendly staff that can exchange your money to JOD for a small fee. The rooms are a bit dated, but who cares? Did you come for the room/hotel or for PETRA! So for the proximity, food, service, and money exchange I give it a 5. Disregard the basic room.

Friendly staff, great rooms and pools. Just 400 meters from the entrance to the Petra site. Near restaurants and shops.

Very closer to the Petra Visitors centre. Has a grocery shop and good restaurant next to the hotel.
Value for money.
Very good breakfast provided early morning (6am till 9:30am) in order to make sure that we can get an early spot in the Petra.
If anyone is visiting Petra from Amman, first check into the property, go see the little Petra from the back entrance and then come all the way down to see the Monastery. Next day you can visit Petra again to get a morning view with less crowd.

Beautiful hotel with helpful staff, relaxing hamman experience and great buffet. The place has a luxury feel, is spacious and clean. Recommended!

This review is not for the hotel itself, but for the bar in the hotel. We were there during Ramadan and this was one of the only places for one to find a cold adult beverage. What made it so enjoyable, though, was our bartender Isa. He was absolutely amazing! We came here every night that we were there and, thankfully, Isa was working each time. Would definitely recommend swinging by here if you are thirsty.

3 bocks away from Petra visitor center. Walked over after dinner and breakfast. Dinner was an amazing feast of local cuisine

Their bar is the only place in Wadi Musa which will discreetly sell you alcohol to-go. Just go to the bar and ask for it in a bag. Inflated prices, but not hugely.

Older but nice centrally located near gates to archeological site

It is a nice hotel in Petra. Offers good breakfast and clean rooms. What stands out is the friendliness and kindness of the staff and especially the manager/owner of the hotel. I would really want to thank her for her help with organizing my trip from Petra to Wadi Rum.

Nice hotel just walking distance to Petra visitor centre. Big and comfy rooms and big bathrooms. Staff helpful...even bought organised tickets for us. Restaurant included and breakfast was rich and lots of choices. Recommended!
