I had the best lamb Mansaf ever at this restaurant. Their hummus is also homemade with love and the experience was just amazing. They also have a large menu selection to satisfy all tastes.

Great authentic local food. Very reasonably priced and great service. We had the chefs selection of dips and Jordanian salads with a mixed grill as the main. Would highly recommend this place to anyone travelling through Petra.

Delicious food and incredible service. Seating was available both outside and inside with great views, and vegetarian options were available. Would definitely recommend coming here. Extremely attentive staff. They gave us tea on the house at the end of our meal. :-)

Jordan Heart was a fantastic restaurant to dine at. We went both nights we were there and the staff / chef were just amazing. The hummus is really the chefs kiss. Highly recommend them!

The food is absolute perfection at this no-frills roadside establishment. Our meal began with refreshing fresh-squeezed juices and pita with a sampling platter of dips for the table, each of which was more flavorful and fresh than the last. When it came to entrees, highlights included the maqluba—a traditional “upside down” chicken, vegetable, and rice medley spiced to perfection—and the mansef—a culturally significant rich Jordanian lamb dish with a savory yogurt broth. The owner was exceptionally friendly, teaching our group of 7 Americans the traditional ways to eat our dishes and speaking at length about the history of Petra and the surrounding area. We were served complimentary Turkish tea to round out our hearty meals and left feeling satisfied and grateful for the experience we shared. Don’t skip this restaurant—arguably the best meal of our trip!

Excellent food! We found this place by accident. Placed at the end of the tourist street it seemed empty but that changed with our stay there. So don’t get mislead. Incredibly friendly and patient staff (all my questions) simple menu fitted on one page (always an advantage)
And the most important: the food! Never had I ever eaten such a tasty hummus! Last night we had Mansef, Eggplant Fatah and today (yes we came back after a second half of the Petra tour) a set of cold appetizers and Shish Tawook. We are definitely happy and grateful to the god of food for leading us here. Strongly recommend it!

The food is amazing, the chef was an executive chef and world champion, super nice guy. Extraordinary food and service, will definitely come back. (The chef’s kitten is called Lucie, only one month old and super cute)

My favorite restaurant in Wadi Musa! They had the best hummus hands down - I’m still thinking about it. Since my partner and I are still neophytes to Jordanian food, we ordered the mix of mezze which looked and tasted superb. The meat was the best cooked we had in Jordan thus - very tender and not dry. I ordered the tahini kofte and vegetable soup. My partner got the mix kebab. We were both thrilled for a hearty and delicious meal after a long day hiking. The bread was also nice and warm and the restaurant was toasty too which helped since it’s freezing! The chef/owner was very friendly and loves cats - there is a kitten playing around outside and very spoiled :) the location is the best for tired explorers after a long day in Petra since it’s halfway up the hill! Would 100% recommend.

Both the food and the service was awesome. Had a plate of yellow rice with nicely cooked vegetables and meat, and a sandwich kebab. Didn't even get a picture of the rice cause I was too hungry hehe. To drink a very refreshing lemon and mint juice.

The waiter was very nice and welcoming, and they also offered a tea at the end of the meal. Best restaurant I could visit in town.

It's in a bit of an anonymous place on the road so need to go based on good reviews ;)

Food was fresh and tasty . I ordered a local Jordanian lamb dish and was great. The lemon and mint drink was also great.

The place was quiet tonight and usually I would have my doubts but there is nothing to worry about.

I rate this restaurant very well. The food was excellent, the staff nice helpful. The best in that dish were the nuts, the name of which I do not know. I highly recommend

We are staying in a 5 star hotel next to the entrance to the visitor’ centre and each day we have chosen to eat at a different local restaurant - but this is the only Petra restaurant I am taking time to review. Google maps said it was an 8 minute walk away but it’s definitely uphill so it probably took longer.
The walk was absolutely worth it and the restaurant completely deserves its 4.9 Google rating. Our lunch of Fattuous, Baba Ghanoush, Lamb Mansaf and Maqluba was exceptional - a substantial meal with refreshing starters and delicately flavoured tender main courses. With bread, refreshing iced lemon with mint drinks and mint teas to end the meal, the bill for two came to 32JOD - less than any of our other meals, and incredible value for a meal of such quality meal.
It’s easy after a day walking Petra to be too tired to think straight about where to eat, but this place serves magical food and is worth a few more steps (or even a very short taxi ride).

I had concerns about finding something good and local in such a touristy town. It was perfect!
🍛
Quickly served, the waiter chatted and helped with the selection, solid portions and everything really tasty - from appetizers to dessert. It is worth here to catch up after sightseeing in Petra!

This was honestly THE best food we had in Jordan. I'm a vegetarian and the food here was amaaaaazing! Gems like this are not easy to find in touristic places - we got here because of a recommendation and we were not sorry. It was actually so good that we came back for the second time in one day.

Highly highly recommend this place!

Try the eggplant fattah and you'll go to heaven. ✨

Great restaurant, highly recommended.
We ate here twice during our stay in Wadi Musa. The food has good taste, the waiters are friendly and the prices reasonable.
Especially recommend the lemon mint drink, the mutabal and the freshly grilled meat.

Located a little above the touristic area on the main road, the restaurant was quiet and with exceptional service. We tasted two local dishes (mansaf & galayet) for the first time and they were good. We also tasted baba ganoush that was delicious! It's was definitely worth to walk a bit to have this dinner.

The staff here were very friendly when we stopped in for a shisha and tea. They even gave us a free round of teas once we'd finished the drinks we'd ordered. We didn't eat but only because we weren't hungry and would definitely come back to try just based on the great attitude of the staff. Thank you.
