Good variety of books on offer but owner is not very kind and prices are high.

I never bought anything from them because I know better. I'm just leaving a review so others don't fall for their tourist traps.

It is a shame when you see groups of people with a licensed tour guide and the guide is asking his group if they want to buy the books, seems like if you pay for a guide they should be helping you to not get scammed and not helping the scammers.

Absolute rip-off. Asked 20 JOD for a book and refused to negotiate. I got the same book from the Petra Museum gift shop for 5 JOD! Petra museum gift shop is a 5 minute walk away, with better book selection and way better prices.

He overcharged us for stamps by 4x of their value. I noticed too late when I was already at the hotel... Just don't buy anything from this thief! He should go to jail for cheating off tourists!

Terrible shop and the biggest cheats as they charge the 3 times the price for the books. Go to the museum shop - Much better. DO NOT EVER GO TO JEFF’S BOOK SHOP UNLESS YOU WANT TO FEEL CHEATED

Be very careful with your credit cards near this business. I didn't even buy anything from them and my bank statements shows a purchase of $76 Australian. Very bad. Avoid even walking past this store, as this is all I did. Nasty!

Horrible bookshop. Doesn't tend to his customers. Only chase them away. Shouting "there is nothing cheap sold here" at his customers doesn't help at all.
