Located right at the visitors center and main entrance to Petra this is a great stop on your way out. Seating is limited, especially if you're with a group, and would expect the inside to fill up quickly (more seating outside). Limited choice of beers and some various cocktails - food comes (I assume) from the attached hotel kitchen (didn't order, but limited options).

Stopped by for a well earned Pina Colada after our first day exploring Petra.

Cute bar, with a few lit caverns containing seats. We were originally going to sit in a cavern but one of my travel companions needed space to stretch his legs, so we opted to sit outside instead.

Service was good, and the drinks were reasonably priced and very enjoyable.

Definitely worth visiting.

Perfect place to get a refreshment after a day walking around in Petra! Conveniently located next to the entrance and for those in need, they serve beer with alcohol here. Food options are good but if you’re looking for a small bite with your drink they don’t have a lot of options.

The detail and atmosphere of this place is very cool. We had a drink inside the cave part and later moved outside to the terrace. Service was very good, Mohammad was very helpful. Highly recommend a visit here. We had the local wine and a margarita-both great!

Forming part of the Petra Guest House, this bar is set in a cave, carved out of the rock by the Nabataean people as a tomb 2,000 years ago. This alone makes it pretty special!

Plenty of seating areas inside and outside, with the former being cool and intimate in the evening. Given its proximity to the entrance to the archaeological site, it’s naturally full of tourists (us included) and prices are a little high (but not exceptional so). Also it’s one of only three places in the city serving alcohol.

Service can be a little slow at times when it’s busy, plus some of the seating areas are difficult for the serving staff to see. Nevertheless, an excellent place to visit.

Excellent experience at the world's oldest bar! Zeyad our waiter was super friendly and educational. The shisha experience inside the bubble overlooking wadi Musa town is amazing and definitely worth it. Enjoy a Petra local beer and vibes!!

Incredible atmosphere! This bar is made inside the rock and thanks to its luxury architecture it is a magic place where spending some hours with friends or girlfriend!

Price are not high and we tried several cocktails and they were all amazing!

I really suggest you to go after dinner because the atmosphere in the night is magic!

The cave bar in Petra is unique in its genre.
It is carved in the sandy stone because it once was a tomb of the local population. The bar now serves fancy drinks in a delicious atmosphere both in the inside and the outside.

Can't believe this place isn't packed all the time. I usually a lid places right next to an attraction, but this is not an attraction-style restaurant. The food quality (and taste) was exceptional, the prices are actually lower than the tourist restaurants and the atmosphere obviously can't be beat, you're eating in an actual cave, quite beautiful. Service is top-notch. The low prices are shocking for the food and service we received. Highly recommended.

Great spot right at the entrance to Petra, we visited during Ramadan so no alcohol but the tea was delicious and the service wonderful.

It's an experience you should take in if visiting Petra.

Good service, full bar, great atmosphere

High end bar in Petra.

Good service, has indoor and outdoor seating.

Indoor seating has multiple individual "cave" seating and table for dining.

Snack (burger, salad, sandwiches) food only, no main meal.

Had the steak sandwich and beef burger, taste alright for Petra standard.

Would I return? Yes definitely for drinks.

Cave Bar is not just a place to have a drink, it's a place where you celebrate after visiting one of the New Seven World Wonders
Petra.
Khalid, Zeyad and all who I didn't mention, you are amazing. Keep it up guys
Try the special Burger. Ask Khalid for it

Food is good, service was also good, especially from our waiter Zayed. We sat outside and it started getting cold, so they brought us big, heavy, but very warm coats which was very sweet of them. Plus they had beer!

Zeyad helped us with great care. The ambiance is makes it a place you have to visit if you ever come to visit Wadi musa. It is situated a real cave what probably used to be used as an stable for animals. This makes everything perfect

The atmosphere here is the entire purpose of a visit! We only had beer / wine, so can't speak to the drinks much, as those are quite hard to mess up. But it's a great reward after a long day of hiking in Petra.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Surprised by the “low” prices. Yes it’s not cheap, but compared to the other tourist traps around it - very good quality for money.

Super cool bar literally inside a cave. They have indoor and outdoor spaces which were equally appealing in vibe and decor. We arrived shortly before closing during the COVID curfew. The staff was incredibly welcoming and happy to accommodate us for the short time we had before they were required to close. The bar did not have a lot of business, but the staff (Sameer, Zead & Odoit) were upbeat, joking...having fun and ensuring that we had fun as well. The drinks came quickly and were absolutely delicious. They closely observed COVID safety protocols and we would have loved to settle in for the evening if we had been able to arrive earlier. Highly recommend!
