Usually I don't write reviews, but I honestly believe this Hotel really waranted a positive review. The owner is very hospitable. On arriving we were served some free grapes and drinks. We wanted to see Petra really early, and thereby missing breakfast. The man actually went out of his way to make us lunch boxes we could take with us. He also proposed us to go to a certain restaurant, where we got a 10% discount on the delicious traditional Jordan food. He is really kind and likes to have a chat with the guests. His English is really good, which also helps. It helped with communicating with him, but also to negotiate prices when our taxi arrived.
The room we had was great. It was clean and had everything we needed. We stayed two days, and on the second day we had a nice and tasty breakfast.

A short walk away from the entrance of Petra, and we were very well received. The personnel was arranging to us being a bit late in checking out, and our stay was overall great.
Only slight bug was that or window let in a slight draft, requiring us to use the heating.

Nice and affordable hotel. We were warmly welcomed by the staff. The room was big with good bed. We travelled in winter and the bathroom was a bit cold but the water was hot enough to compensate for that. The breakfast was nice and we got even offered a lunch bag for our trip to Petra because we left early. During our visit in Jordan we found here the most friendly staff of all hotels.

Perfect place ! Close to the city center and from the entrance of Petra. The owner is a-do-rable, so welcoming ! The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. Highly recommended !

We stayed here three nights while visiting Petra. It was probably the best hotel we stayed at during our two week trip in Jordan. Clean and new rooms, great breakfast and attentive service. Would definitely recommend!

Exzellent breakfast, new and large rooms, even with electric plugs for european devices!
We started our tour to Petra before 7 o'clock and we got a huge lunch box.
Very friendly and efficient service

Rashid and Isham welcomed us both into their hotel. We had what we needed a clean bed and cold shower in the heat! Isham was kind enough to drive us around and pick us up around Petra. He also, showed us a yummy restaurant. Thank you both, you made us feel welcome! 😊

Sofsaf hotel is the best hotel I've ever seen in Petra. It's small and comfortable hotel. it's close to the the entrance of Petra.

Very friendly employees, we had a beautiful view from our balcony, great to watch the sunset. Breakfast was in Arab style with very nice view from the 4th floor and also great to watch the sun rise

The place is also so quiet and comfortable ..
Rooms are equipped with the best toilets and showers and AC.

If you want to get the real feel of how thelocal neighbourhoods in the Pettra city feel like; this is the place to be :-)

This is a superb hotel. The hotel owner is so helpful and friendly and so is Rasheed at the reception. These guys are great We felt so comfortable there. The rooms are new and clean, and very cozy as well. Five minutes from petra visitor's center. Highly recommended!!
