My stay in the hostel was great!
Breakfast and dinner are very good! The place is always clean and the beds are very comfortable!
The staff is great! I remember sheriff but also the two ladies that one was cleaning and the other one cooking was very nice and hard workers!
I recommend everyone to come and stay in Petra Cabin Hostel!

During my first trip to this magnificent country of Jordan, I stayed at the Petra cabin. Do not hesitate to come to this hostel where the staff is attentive and always smiling. The cabin is very comfortable and nicely decorated. Its location is ideal for quickly going to the Petra visitor center. To finish, the breakfast is complete, varied and offers the possibility of discovering some specialties. THANKS

These are little sleeping boxes but are soooo comfy cozy as long as you are not expecting an actual room.
Staff is awesome, friendly, super helpful- got me a last minute transport to Amman during low season. Would 200% go back if I return to Petra.

Such a great hostel ! The rooms are so clean and well entertained, people who work there are so friendly and the location is 5 minutes walk to the entrance of the Petra museum.

I've seen very few hostels which provide their level of privacy. You have your own coups with locks, and lockers inside them. The breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets are chargeable, but way cheaper than what you'd pay in town.
The only problems are, you have to climb up 4 flights of stairs to enter the hostel since there's no elevator, and there are very few charging points in the common space.

The best option in Petra if you travel on a budget and you don’t want to walk much or take a taxi every time to move around. It is just 7min walking from Petra Visitor Center, this is great when you want to make the most of the day and start visiting at 6am to enjoy the site without crowds and the heat.
They offer breakfast and dinner at extra cost (5 and 7 JD) but there are many restaurants and little supermarkets within 5-10 min walk as well.
The staff was friendly and at our disposal for any request , the room are basic but comfortable, with AC, perfectly clean bathrooms and showers , small lockers to store your valuables.
How to get here : JETT bus at 6.30am from Amman or private transport
To go to Wadi Rum there is a bus every day at 6am for 10JD departing right down the hotel.

We have booked a double cabin for two nights, three days recently. It was a pleasant stay. There are some pros and cons if we are talking about the hostel and service.
Friendly staff, Delicious food, Good Customer service and Room and Garden was amazing.
Overall, we enjoyed the stay. Staff were friendly, very helpful. The kitchen staff was super helpful, even serving the food to the bedroom when I was unable to dine at the restaurant at day 2. On the third day they even packed our lunches when we said that we were unable to stay for lunch.

I recently stayed at this budget-friendly hostel for a couple of nights, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to help us when we had an issue with our car. They truly made our stay much more enjoyable.

Although we only had dinner at the hostel once since we wanted to explore the local restaurants, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and selection of food for the price. It was definitely a great deal and helped us save some money during our travels.

The location was another major plus. The visitor center for Petra was just a short 5-minute walk away, which was perfect after a long day of exploring. It was convenient to be so close to all the main attractions without having to travel far.

Overall, I highly recommend this hostel for travelers looking for a budget-friendly option, especially for those staying only one or two nights. The staff's hospitality and helpfulness truly made a difference in our experience, and the location and food were also great perks. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very nice hostel with nice design and atmosphere located 5 minutes from the Petra entrance. The stuff is helpful and positive.
The restaurant is amazing. The food is super tasty and only for 10 dinars you can try many dishes on buffet, all of them prepared perfectly from mama majdoleen..

We spend 2 nights in the hostel , and I have to say that was my most satisfied experience staying at a tourist area hotel, Mohamed the host of the place is so nice and friendly, satisfied us any request we asked instantly. Cabin are very clean, well maintained and the lounge is fantastic, overall, the hardest part is you almost impossible to pick up something to complain. Well done and if we come back to Petra again, we will definitely choose this hostel for sure.

This is the first time I sleep in this place. I loved the queen size bed room. I thought it wouldn't be spacious enough, but I was super wrong. It is very spacious. I could stretch easily after a long hike in Petra. The mattress is very comfortable, and the sheets are clean. Bathroom is super clean which is the most important thing to be honest. Kind people working there. Very good breakfast. I highly recommend it for travelers visiting Petra. Not to mention it's 5 mins walk from the visitors center!! It's a deal breaker to be honest especially after a long hike in Petra. Great job to everything working here.

amazing location! staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful - we were offered everything we needed and got free tea made for us in the evening :)
The beds were very comfortable and the communal space was very clean and respectful.

Their stay price is reasonable compared to others in Petra.
They provide a buffet for breakfast and dinners at a good price than others.
They are good at the cleanliness of the cabin and toilet.

They close gates at midnight and open at 6.00 am. I found this weird. Rest is really good.

They can also help you with travelling to Wadi Rum and Camping.

They can guide you for other destinations in Jordan, which is very much appreciable in Jordan. It is very difficult to get correct information. Everyone is try to sell their service.

Perfect location and room with the view on main gate to Petra and mountains. Owner is really nice and helpful, you can ask him anything and always get answer and really good recommandations. Hostel is clean and quiet despite the shared spaces. The food served is cheap and you won't leave hungry. Tea and water for free. Really recommend this place because of the view, location and atmosphere like home.

The hostel is perfect to visit Petra, especially while on a budget.

It is located 5 minutes walk away from Petra main entrance. In the area there are good restaurants and small shops.

The cabins are comfortable, have 2 lights and plugs.
The breakfast for 5 Jods is abundant and perfect to fill up the stomach before a long day hiking in Petra. I didn't eat dinner there (7 Jod, all you can eat).
The common area and dining area is on the last floor with a nice view.

The staff is very nice, they take time to answer a lot of logistic questions regarding commuting from Petra to somewhere else.

We chose it for its proximity to the entry point to Petra, and we’re so glad we did. Buffet breakfast and dinner were super; the staff, especially Sharif, were friendly and helpful for us with laundry, charging devices, town recommendations, etc., which was especially appreciated as we were in the midst of backpacking the Jordan Trail. Feels like a typical European hostel. Great view.

5 min away form petra so you don't need to walk a lot or take a taxi , clean , safety for your baggage, and finally it's cheap so you won't break your budget.

Don’t be deceived by the name of this hostel CABIN. Actually it is more of a hotel and consists of a very caring group of team reception Sheriff both the bosses Hamza and brother and least of all the team of staff. The place is very clean , good food and menu changes very night. Even though it is on the roof my luggages were taken care off. They even offer all the services like tours bus tickets purchase Turkish massage you name it they will assist. Highly recommended rated 5 stars.
