Ata Ali Hotel

The employees were kind and attentive. It was reasonably priced and in a good area for parking and getting in and out of town easily. Just a few minute drive to Petra and Tourism St.

Had a lovely stay, great service, owner was helpful and kind throughout my stay. Lovely views from the rooftop especially at sunset.

Petra main entrance is 6 min drive. I paid 5JOD for one way with Mohammad (most taxis were charging 7-9JOD) his contact is +962 7 7753 0213, he was flexible with times and easy to contact.

There is also a supermarket near by called the normal supermarket, cheap prices for buying snacks for Petra.

Great location, great staff and a fantastic rooftop view, the owner Ibrahim is very friendly and very helpful. We asked him about our itinerary and he completely flipped it around and it was so worth it.
Definitely book your room there, support local businesses and talk to Ibrahim to learn all about the locals. I can’t wait to visit again.

3 star hotel with 5 star service.
Yes the rooms are 3 star quality. But everything else is 5 star. Service is much better then even some 5 star hotels we stayed in Jordan. Owner / manager is a fantastic host and he does make a good omelet. Best view of Petra from the rooftop cafe. My wife and I were treated like rock stars. Thank you.

We loved this place, it’s a perfect base to go visit Petra from.

The room is nice, cozy. Bed really comfortable.
Bathroom is simple but clean and does it job.

The best part of this hotel is super welcoming and knowledgeable owner who will give you best tips about Petra and goes out of his way for you the have a good visit and he also is an exceptional cook.

You have got to stay for dinner, it was for sure the best food we had in Jordan.

The lunch & dinner that is prepared by the owner of the hotel is AMAZING.

A difficult-to-believe outstanding experience!

We had a problem with our reservation caused by Booking. Ibrahim, the manager of the Ata Ali Hotel handled it super professionally (way more than how booking did) altough he was not the responsible of such a problem.
He also gave us a master class on photography!

We eventually were allocated in a super hotel thanks to his help.

We had dinner in his rooftop where the view of the sunset is simply amazing. We had a super good traditional Jordanian dinner served in the traditional format.

As Petra is a must for Jordania, the Ata Ali Hotel is a must for Petra.

Go there and you will feel like as home.

Great hotel within easy reach if Petra - walkable if you are in good health (1.5Km). Staff are very friendly and helpful - sat down with us for 30 minutes on arrival to give us the local details. Nice if small room but perfectly adequate for a short stay. Good breakfast included on a covered roof terrace. No dinner or lunch served but they will order in for you from a range of local restaurants - reasonably cheap and what we had was good - lentil soup and pizza. Recommended for a short stay.

Ata ali hotel is the place where you fall in love again with all the good things in life like nature, culture, travelling ,family and friends. Its a magical place where you feel like home..thank you Ibrahim for your love and hospitality!

Rooftop restaurant: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! We had an amazing traditional meal 2 nights in a row, the owner is extremely friendly. The restaurant is in a good location and it is great value for money.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, nice and cozy with family atmosphere. Rooms are quite small but clean and comfortable with a few complimentary drinks in the mini bar.

We were 2 couples and all of us think the same...It has been Amazing!
The room was really nice and the staff as well...expecially Ibrahim ( that i use to call Brian 😅) ...he's the best ! Very kind and professional with a real interest to the costumer's neeeds.
But the best part has been the dinner.....oh man....the menù was AMAZING from the apetizer to the dessert...and trust me....im italian...i know and love food !
The view was beautiful and the atmosphere magic. So my friend Brian good job ! Your hotel Is the best i tryed in Jordan. Hope to come back soon!

The Staff made sure that our stay was memorable. Food was good and the view was amazing. Would highly recommend the place. Parking space is also available.

This place is awesome and the family that runs it helped me out loads when I stayed there . They really know their stuff about Petra and the surrounding area and can sort you out with guides, cars etc. Really welcoming place, cute rooms, informed and friendly...
