Al-Mehbash Restaurant

I got the lentil soup, pineapple juice, and Sajih Meat & Vegetables (with lamb) that came with rice. Complimentary tea with mint. All were delicious! Enough food for 3 people and I was by myself so they packaged the leftovers to go. Total bill $12.60 US 😄 Service was great and restaurant was very clean. I came because of the flyer they put on my car at the Petra parking lot.

The most delicious food we had in Jordan. Truly tasty and the portions were very generous. It is a local restaurant, with simple decoration but the food is superior to other restaurants we tried, some with better reviews. The prices are reasonable and cheaper than many, and they accepted payment by card. We particularly loved the falafel and the mansaf lamb.

Amazing experience,from the beginning the staff was super friendly and helpful with any questions about Jordan. We ordered three plates(containing meat and chicken)and an arabica salad,the food was so tasty ,they even gave us a complementary dessert which was so yummy. Overall would 100 %recommend.

The food was incredibly aromatic and delicious (had the Fattah Hummus). The juices are also amazing. Had the fresh orange juice and liked it so much I ordered two. Great shady place to wind down for the day after a morning in Petra.

Delicious food, nice staff and the place was all covered in nice local atmosphere. Fair price compared to big portion (had problem to finish it, even after 8hr hike in Petra). You see lamb BBQ for 8 JD.

This place has really good food. Would highly recommend coming here to eat if you ever find yourself in wadi musa/Petra. The fattah hummus is an absolute MUST!!! So delicious aswell as the mansaf but cannot get past how good the fattah hummus was.

The food was really delicies, we ordered fried falafel, mandi chichen and lamb with vegetables and rice! The portions were big, everything was tasty, the had good prices; the waiters were nice, were showing me how they prepare bread. At the end we got extra baklava for free. Nice place to have a dinner in Wadi Musa and I would recomended 100%.

Highly recommend! When you visit Petra, you must take dinner at this restaurant. You can enjoy local food which is very yummy. I ate Galaya Bandura which is so nice ( it's spicy) . A lot of locals are taking away their food for the dinner . And price is cheap. So it's good for travelers as well. Ehab(cook) and manager are very nice person.

We got the mandy Chicken with rice. It's absolutely delicious. The staff are super helpful, the food was fantastic, quick service, the area...I mean it's Petra... what more can one ask.
I'm Italian and we love food. Me and my wife loved this place. We will be looking forward to our next visit very soon.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our host, because my father specifically wanted to eat lamb. We ordered joranian mansaf (lamb with rice in a jogurt sauce), mixed grilled meat, mandy chicken and fattah hummus. We liked everything but lamb was really the best, it was juicy and very tasteful. The portions are big, atmosfere is nice, all the staff very kind and helpful. I recommend this restorant if you are looking for a real good restaurant experience.

My husband, 2 kids, and myself had an amazing experience here. The hotel we stayed at recommended this place and we were not disappointed. Some of the best food we had on our trip in Jordan. The owner spoke good English and gave us a complimentary dessert. Service was fast which we were thankful for after all day at Petra.

A gem on Tourism Road. We noticed the restaurant because there were tons of locals stopping to get takeout and large catering orders being picked up.
We ordered the mixed grill, mandi chicken and tabbouleh. The food was freshly made and well seasoned. Great portion sizes for the price and just absolutely delicious. We complimented the grill master and chef and they insisted on taking a picture with us.
Best meal in Wadi Musa by far. Would eat here again :)

Very cheap price, considering the other restaurants nearby. Food was good, they served us some baklava at the end for free. Kind waiters.
