Grand Mercure Petra

We had a great stay. Belal checked us in and was amazing throughout our stay checking up on us and making sure we were looked after. Laith at the bar was fantastic along with Murad and Ibrahim and their front staff team for meals who were phenomenal. Muhammad and the rest of the chef staff were fantastic and the food was amazing.
We arrived as guests, stayed as friends and this was super memorable.

2-day stay in November 2023. Very few guests due to geopolitical situation in the region (unfortunately). The service was great from reception to restaurant, the staff very kind (Bilal, Murad, etc.). We got a room upgrade as there was a possibility, thank you! The food is good (breakfast and dinner). The wifi works great. Good luck and hopefully the tourists come back again quickly!!

Me and my wife stayed at the Mövenpick Nabatean Castle as part of our visit to Petra during our week-long Jordan vacation trip. The hotel is located at a fantastic location with great views of mountains with gorges and valleys. The shuttle from the hotel to the historic site was very useful. The room was very comfortable, helping relax after a long day of hikes/walks in the valley. Food and service was excellent too.

The hospitality of all of the staff at Movenpick Nabatean is outstanding. The food is wonderful, the Bedouin Tent dining is exceptional. Its location is spectacular. The is literally nothing out of place or unsatisfactory. Highly recommended. The sundowner fireplace and mint tea is outstanding.

Had a lovely stay at the hotel. Rooms were large. Breakfast buffet was very good. Delicious mixed grill dinner, too.

Fantastic 2 night stay while visiting Petra. The spectacular view and hotel amenities are only outdone by the kind and generous staff who made this stay a highlight of our trip to Jordan. If your looking for a great place to stay out of the hustle and bustle of Wadi Musa while visiting Petra, highly recommend staying here, the frequent shuttles to the Petra visitor Center made everything hassle free and convenient, would love to visit again in the future!

The staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is a little dated but still very pleasant and a great location away from the hustle outside the visitors gate. Food and drink was good and the view of the mountains and Petra at sunset is one of the best memories of my Jordan.

The views are fantastic but little far from Petra. But the hotel have shuttle service. Front desk officer forgot name really helpful, of course the manager 5*

Beautiful location with extremely kind and helpful staff. We greatly enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners, as well as comfortable beds. From a cleanliness level, it is impeccable. The Wi-Fi is steady and fast, so this was a perfect location to both relax and keep up with work.

We got room upgrade, free welcome friut in room. The chocolate hour from 4-5 pm everyday with a rich chcolate fondue was so much enjoyed. The pool was nice we went two time was empy no one at all. The hotel back yard is beautiful view so grand.
Most compliment to the restaurant staff all of them are more than just kind. They notice that i have a son 5 years old and everytime we are there they bring some kid favorite foid for him all the time.

I can only recommend this hotel to anyone staying near Petra. It has a great view from the mountains and really great breakfast. But the best experience I ever had was with the Receptionist Ahmad.Q! He was awesome, helpful and friendly. He really cares about the customer and offers a great service! Definitely stay at this Hotel.

Although it was just an one night stay after a very tiring journey at Petra, the hotel was really adequate. The room was very clean, the food was tasty with plenty of choices and the staff was helpful. Don't forget to enjoy the magical view to the mountainous landscape at the time of the sunset

Movenpick was simply amazing. They pay attention to every detail and give great service, especially to Accor members. The place is both comfortable and fancy. It's a top-notch place that will go above and beyond your expectations.

the stay was perfect. very well located less than 10 minutes from petra. very good reception at the hotel. a big thank you for the upgrade on the occasion of my wife's birthday. thank you also to M Nadhmy Nasarat, the duty manager who organized a nice surprise for my wife during dinner. I recommend with eyes closed.
