Al Rashid Hotel

This hotel is amazing! Great in Petra. Near restaurants and cafés downtown. Rooms beautiful and crean. Very kind staff and excellent breakfast. 5 minutes from Petra with the car and beautiful decoration.

I stayed here with a friend for one night - my friend was sick and Waill (hotel owner) and his staff did so many kind things to try to help her feel better and more comfortable (eg we asked for a hot water bottle and they didn’t have one but went out and bought one and filled it up in the restaurant next door and brought it to the room). They really went out of their way to help us, they showed true kindness and generosity. Thank you 😊

The staff here were fantastic! They were very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. They did all the could to help us on our way. Our room was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The shower had great water pressure and temperature. Breakfast was plentiful and served to us immediately. The place itself is also very clean and has a restaurant attached to it where we ended up eating as we were exhausted from a huge day at Petra. The restaurant serves good tasty well priced food and also gave us a complimentary dessert at the end. Our best stay in Jordan for sure!

Great little hotel only 15 minutes walk to the main gate of Petra. We are independent travellers and were given a warm welcome on arrival. Mohamed can arrange tours of Petra and back gate access which is highly recommended. Our room was clean and modern with a spotless bathroom and international TV. If you are planning a trip to Petra we can recommend this a great place to stay.

This place was awesome considering the $55 per night we paid for it. I don't know why it is listed as one star on the Petra tourist guide. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the room, while small, is clean with a comfortable bed, nice bathroom, satellite TV and included WiFi. The breakfast is quite simple although they will bring you a fried egg or omelette if you ask for it. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a budget hotel that is clean and comfortable.

Mohammad was the best, definitely went above and beyond in helping us! Very friendly and helpful staff. We did not come close to eating the entire breakfast provided! The room was clean cozy. It is an easy 10-15 minute walk to the Siq. I would stay again and recommend. Try the Bedouin Bites eatery directly across from the hotel entrance.

Best choice for affordable hotel accommodation. Amazing staff, very friendly owner. Awesome restaurant where appetisers come for free for hotel guests.

I love Al Rashid hotel! William and Wa'ill (the hotel owners) are some of the most wonderful people I have ever met in my travels and have gone out of their way time and again for me. I have stayed at their hotel in Wadi Musa several times and have even brought many friends with me over the past few years, all of whom have had a wonderful experience.

The hotel is right in the center of town and has access to amazing restaurants, shops, and other such things that will make your time in Wadi Musa (Petra) wonderful. The hotel itself is well kept and extremely affordable. The breakfast is delicious, they sell tickets to the Petra By Night show, and they will even prepare you a sack lunch for your hiking in Petra should you desire one.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to spend a few days in Wadi Musa!

Honestly, it's a good hotel for the price. For me it deserves more than one star. I don't understand the review from some people but of course it depends what you looking for. Room are correct and very clean. Bathroom perfect. Downstairs of the hotel you have one of the best restaurant that I tried in the area. Very cosy and convivial with homemade and traditional food. I recommend totally. We stayed here with friends and it exceeded our expectations...

What made this hotel great for me were the two guys running it. They went out of their way to get me anything I needed, give me directions, and feed me tea. Also, the room was clean and quiet and the included breakfast was delicious. Great value.

This is a great deal for your money in Wadi Musa. Small but very comfy room, everything worked perfectly - wifi, aircon in the room, tv, shower etc. Owners are very friendly, I recommend you don't skip a cup of tea with them. Simple but sufficient breakfast. Hotel is centrally located, go across the street to a nice cyber cafe with ubiquitous shisha and arabic coffee.

Amazing food and an outside terrace with a view of the busy streets and the hillside houses around. Very nice service from the staff. Recommenable for sure.

Location and breakfast is so good. Tarıq is good person and he always smile to u.
