Co-op Food - Birchington

Lack of staff causing cues and limited stock on shelf.

As expected, it doesn't have as much stock or options available as the 2nd branch further along the road.
It does have the bonus of housing the village Post Office though!
However this can, at times, also be a considerable hindrance.
The queue can be quite extensive at times, which inhibits any movement at the back between aisles.
Thus forcing you to walk all the way back to the front of the store to achieve access which, as a disabled person, can be quite energy consuming!
On a nicer note, the staff themselves are always helpful.

Friendly staff

Definitely the oldest out the two coops on the same road. Only used this one as they were the only one that had red peppers!! Store could do with a deep clean!! (Floor was black by the checkouts instead of the orange/cream the rest if the floor was) and the elderly cashier looked like she needed training in not only how to work the till, but a bit of customer service, as I didn't even get a hello before she started shipping my shopping!!!

There are 2 Co Ops on the same Street near to each other which is confusing and a Sainsburys local has opened next to one of them is this necessary when all the local banks have been closed

Typical Co-op. Never any cashirrs or only one when the que gets to the store room out the back of the shop

This store need a refit as soon as possible once every thing settle down you can't move in it

Miserable staff

Ordered through just eat, i didn’t receive 2 of my items. The strawberries they delivered were mouldy. When trying to use the phone number to contact them (5 times) they did not pick up the phone.
