POOMA STORE

I visit this shop regularly at varying times on both weekdays and weekends and the customer service is superb. Always a friendly smile and they truly go above and beyond. On a couple of occasions I have asked for an item that they do not stock and have been truly surprised that they have taken note and managed to stock the item for my next visit. Thoroughly recommended.

I had a parcel to send and Pooma were the closest Evri. The friendly assistant gave me some sticky backed plastic at no charge to seal the wrapping I bought there and talked me through the computerised system to send it. All very easy and pleasant, with no post office queue

Massively overpriced, bought two packets of sweets and was shocked to hear the price altogether was nearly £8

Wanted to buy something on card, owner said minimum £2 on card, I pointed out that’s completely illegal and you can’t have minimum charges on card. He said that’s their policy because they get card charges. Sorry but that’s not my problem? Took my business elsewhere as he’s clearly comfortable breaking the law and turning away customers in a cost of living crisis, when you need all the profit you can get.

Extremely poor customer service by the owner. The store closes at 8pm. I attend at 7:45pm to collect a parcel and I am refused service…? Extremely disappointing and a waste of my time.
