Very helpful staff here. I use this place to drop of my evri parcels and they deliver.

This review was written during the Indian Summer of 2013 and thus my opinions are swayed thusly. Food-wise, this is rather disturbingly the cheapest shop on the high street because the other shops are more expensive by omission; the only shop that can compete on price is the Co-Op. (Lidl's off the main high street and thus doesn't count.) The Tesco Express officially at the end of the high street but officially about two thirds of the way down the shopping area, as an Express store, sells very few everyday value items AND charges Express pricing, so there are many £1, 50p, £1.50 and £2 items which Tesco'll charge you £1.05, 53p, £1.58 and £2.10 that are the recommended retail prices. Waitrose doesn't have a value range and, technically, neither does Iceland. In addition, many products are price marked so are immune from RRP ignorance demonstrated by many of the big supermarkets; pringles, £2.61 in Tesco Express, will cost you £1.79 here. The only thing that is greatly cheaper is tins of drink, which are cheaper in Seoul Plaza next door. (Their usual clientele buys whatever Koreans drink - I can't read Korean! They don't sell so many commercial drinks.) However, in this heat, you are probably better off buying a slush puppy - a small one is 70p and is gorgeously refreshing. (Medium and large = 95p and £1.60.)

A pack of baby wipes(no price tag) costed 1.99p.I think it's a bit rip-off.

They look at you like you're such an inconvenience

Staff are not only rude (especially to Women) but incompetent. If you have to return an Amazon item via this store they offer the service through the company EVRI. EVRI are a great company to send things with and when you do have to make a return it clearly states “You do not need to package your return. Take your QR code to a Packageless Evri Parcel Shop and hold it towards the camera on the Print In-Store device. The Print In-Store device will help you create a label. Hand over the label and your product to a member of the store and they will do the rest for you.”

The staff refuse to take a packageless item and will not do what they are meant to do. If you must use this shop, then you will need to ignore the instructions from EVRI and package up the item yourself.

My parcel was stolen from the shop, and the owner told me simply 'ask evri'.. I lost £170 in the end.

don’t come here, wouldn’t even let me collect a parcel

the owner is very rude, he mistreated the clients and if you go to collect the parcel it treats you like you asking for money. He does not have customer service manner. Once, I went to collect a parcel during my work time and he did not let me it closed the door without explain me and he told me to come back in 10 minutes. Horrible!

I want to advise people who top up oyster cards here to check that it has indeed been topped up correctly.
Unfortunately an though I paid via card for two weekly cards they took the money but failed to credit the oyster card and then they denied it’s there mistake.

Very rude and unpleasant shopping experience. My daughter was there today and the man at the till was foul tempered and very rude for no reason.

Just attended to collect a parcel delivered by Hermes. The lady asked for my address and although I gave her the one on the parcel because it was different to the one on my ID card she refused to give it to me. After about 10 mins arguing and trying to prove my identity and getting the receipt up on the website she finally gave the parcel to me. Very rude and stressful experience would definitely not use this shop again.

When I refund my Amazon package he try to charge me from the shop, even I got emails showing i don't have to pay money when I refund items to Amazon
