Dinky store. Intended for quick visits and snacks probably 😋. Although there are plenty of supplies for entire family meals, too. Seriously good food in M & S. Best fillet steaks on the planet. 🥳

So convenient, and everything looks so attractive. Croissants and Almond Croissants are excellent.

M&S is coming to New Malden with Percy pig and family!

Very busy, but it has just opened.

New M&S finally opened now and it’s a pretty good addition to the New Malden high street. It’s a bit smaller than I expected but still you have a good selection of your M&S food essentials including bakery and fresh fruits and veg.

Relatively good range. More expensive than the big M&S in Kingston, but I guess you’re paying for convenience.

Nice to have a store open late but not a huge range but smaller inside than I expected and quite expensive but suppose thats from quality food Good for an emergency food shop

Small shop, so not a wide selection and busy but handy for the occasional small items.

Good fresh food a bit more expensive but pay for convenience !

Marks and Spencer have missed a great opportunity to open a decent sized food store in New Malden.
I’ve just returned from visiting the newly opened store. I was looking forward to it. I was extremely disappointed at the size of shop and range of products available. Little room for people to pass one another and staff to replenish shelves. Several items I usually buy were vastly overpriced. 45p for one banana. Come on! I had hoped I could do a substantial shop at M & S locally, but sadly that won’t happen. Ok for a pop in but that’s all.
It seems like a token gesture. A missed opportunity. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I debated 3 stars or 4. The store looks very nice! But, in the end, I was a bit disappointed. The store was smaller than I expected and didn’t have the full range of product. A lot of what I was looking for wasn’t available. The isles are tight as are the tills. However, I did appreciate all white wines/sparkling wines are cold. Even though the wine selection wasn’t great, if I wanted to pick up a cold bottle coming home in the evening, I’ll be popping in M&S. I also appreciate having another option on high street as I’m not a huge fan of Waitrose. I will continue to shop here, just had higher hopes.

3/4 - whilst it’s really really great to have this new store arrive, I can’t help but feel they’ve missed a trick here in what they offer. M&S in my view excels in their luxury items (eg dine in for 2, nice starters) lunch and picnic options and really nice items such a special selected cheese … what it has largely delivered is another supermarket essentials offering. Not an interesting cheese in sight. We’ve got a Waitrose, Tesco and Lidl to pick up a block of cheddar. That being said food quality is always great and it’s good to have a couple of sandwiches/salads etc for take away lunch options, albeit less selection. Appreciate the size limitations of the store but hope to see them supply more options where they stand out at going forward
