St Anne's Church, Soho

A return visit mid week. The church is normally open during the day during the week.
Rebuilt after a period of forlornness, after being all but the tower destroyed by a direct hit during the blitz in September 1940. St Anne's, is a peaceful chapel in the midst of Soho and theatre land.

I love this little garden, it's right in the middle of the city and it's a very nice place to rest your legs if you are sightseeing. It has a few benches and a picnic table where you can eat a snack while resting. The church is very pretty with a small fountain in front.

The only annoying thing is that the A/C (or the ventilation) of the building next to it are noisy, it's like there is a freaking factory.

Such a lovely venue in the heart ❤ of Soho.

I was attending a conference, such great facilities as well as a space for prayer and reflection.

The staff were very supportive. St Anne does a lot of amazing work in the community.

Wow what a gem. Great meeting room and facilities.

I was looking for a café and I found this St Anne's church hall. I waited there until 5pm. I had an appointment for dean st clinic. Peaceful hall and lovely tiny and cozy church.

Nice and quiet place, in summer can sit on grass is very well kept

I normally have my lunch here most days. Lovely little spot. You wouldn't think you were in central London when you sit on the bench to enjoy your lunch. There's table tennis available and all the people I've seen use the area are very respectful, and keep the area tidy.

If you find yourself overwhelmed by traffic, passers-by, shops, cafés, etc you could do a lot worse than pausing here for reflection and repose for a while.
The courtyard-style garden becomes busiest in clement weather but you can almost always find a spot to rest and relax here amongst the hectic, narrow streets of Soho.
Well worth a visit if you're in the area (especially should you be planning a picnic)!

I enjoy going here to enjoy my lunch, quiet and a great sun trap in the summer. Unfortunately then can be a lot of pigeons! A popular place for locals. The Soho Food Feast is great here in the summer.

Calm and beautiful church in Soho, great place to have lunch by the garden and benches on a Sunny day :)

Clean and tidy little urban park where you can sit in the sunshine and enjoy your lunch. There is a public toilet that’s covered in local art and often there are soho based events in the garden, including the Soho fête.

The garden is enclosed by ‘the wall of light’ an art installation fence which glows at night.

Had my wedding service here last week and it was absolutely perfect. Reverend Simon is simply awesome. Our day was wonderful. We adore this gem of a church xxxx

I often eat lunch here, even in winter when the benches can be wet and the pigeons aggressive. There are rough sleepers but they are harmless and the church welcomes them. 100,000 dead in this small graveyard. Yikes.

A nice and quite spot for a respite from tge business of Soho. With a large table with chairs it makes for a great place to have a takeaway lunch or picnic even with a larger group.

Soho Fete is a wonderful community event which captures the spirit of Soho. Catch it every year. Usually it takes place in July but this year for obvious reasons it was held in September. A truly joyous affair.

Very cozy, in the heart of car noise, construction work, you feel as if you have found a green haven. The recycling bins are a big plus.

A very sad occasion, my friend's funeral. The vicar was brilliant and made us all feel at ease, bringing people of all backgrounds and faith or none together to remember Cherie. Rather like she did.
