I love it!
Amazing gallery to learn more about British history, full with beautiful paintings and portraits.
The architecture is wonderful too and it’s free 😄
You only pay for some special exhibitions and you can have guided tours for free

Absolutely worth it! The building itself is amazing with a stunning interior design. If you are an art enthusiast, then the art work here is a must! Great collection of paintings from the best art pieces throughout the centuries. Highly recommended.
As for always British museums, this one is also free.

It is a beautiful place full of precious pieces of art. And best of all, it’s free. It is very worthwhile for you to book a shift, or just over 4 hours to be able to enjoy everything that the National Gallery has to offer. Don’t pass quickly, but admire each painting, every story and every room, because yes, the building is a masterpiece apart.

I’m not a museum-goer, so this review is from the point of view of someone who got outvoted on what to do. Turns out, this place was actually pretty cool. Seeing some of these 10 million dollar-plus paintings in person was incredible.

What a treat!! A wonderful collection.
This was a great opportunity to see amazing works for free. I love this concept. We're students and often skip museums because of the cost. There was a reasonable amount of people and we didn't experience long lines.

Super place for a family outing! The large number of exhibits combined with their diversity will provide hours of sightseeing. We spent more than 3h and had to move quickly. The opportunity to see the greatest works of painting up close makes this a must-see place while in London.

This has been the best art gallery I've ever seen. The collection of works is astonishing. Loads of famous and influencial artists. We spent several hours here seeing each piece. Definitely one of our favorite places in London.

For trip through art history, there are few places with such a wealth of works to see. My favourite galleries are the Impressionists and what a treat to sit and look at beautiful works of Renoir or Cezanne, and most other famous artists. There are many benches to sit and view, or just walk past these amazing works.

I mean, you kind of know what you're getting into when it comes to London's great collection of art. You'll find art from each period over the last 500 years, names you'll recognize both big and small.

Plan to spend at least an hour, and try to avoid a busy time if you can as it does get crowded. If you are going during a busy period, then definitely buy tickets in advance.

It is the most excellent museum. There are so many exciting portraits to view. History at your fingertips. The staff is so friendly and professional. The most important thing. It's all free to see. It's truly one of Londons best deals.

A very tranquil space to wander and appreciate the talents of those before us. Free entry but definitely worth making a contribution so that it is here for people after us. Take your children to see these famous masters to give them a new appreciation when then they see the art online.

A stunning gallery with an unparalleled collection of art from around the world covering a vast range of styles and movements.
The galleries themselves are exquisite and perfectly present the artwork on display.
The gallery is like a labyrinth, but you'll be happy to lose yourself within it for a few hours.
All this and it's free to visit, what more could you ask for?

Tickets are free to enter the museum so I would definitely recommend booking in advance- I am so glad we did because the walk-in queue was very long and seemed to move slowly!

There was a calm and quiet ambience in the gallery and plenty of amazing paintings to fill you with awe. The gallery is clean. There are toilets down on the lower level as well as a cafe with a reasonable amount of seating. Definitely worth a visit.

Very good range of course of high-end classical art in a beautiful building. Free entry but book a time beforehand for easy access. Make a list of what you want to see and 'hunt them down' over 3 hours as it's a big place!

This was a very large museum, filled with countless paintings and other works of art. We spent about two hours, wandering, and looking at artwork of famous artists, whose names we recognized. If you are spending several days in London, I would add this to your list of things to see. We reserved free tickets in advance and did not need to wait in line

A perfect place for art lovers. There you can see some of the most popular paintings around the world. It's really worth visiting even if it costs you a 16 hours tour abroad!

It was an amazing experience to be in such valuable place!!

Felt great to be in front of Van Gogh’s art work.

Every single person in this place was supportive and helpful.

Tried to catchup with school kid’s lessons there too.

An unforgettable experience.

An amazing gallery. There were many well-known paintings, such as Sunflowers by Van Gogh, but there was also a wide variety of lesser known but just as beautiful paintings. The building itself was beautiful as well. And it’s free as well, so you get to visit centuries worth of art history without spending a dime. Definitely worth a visit if it’s your first visit to London.

Really beautiful collection of artwork that you can see completely for free!! Including some of the most famous pieces from Monet, Van Gogh, Manet etc. The quality of art is exquisite and there are some very compelling pieces. I would recommend to everyone. The building itself is also stunning
