The Jolly Stitcher is my happy place! Lynn is brilliant and goes above and beyond, her expertise knowledge has been invaluable to me. The selection of fabric and wool is great, I could stay in there for hours!

friendly service, ladies know the subject of tailoring, I was given advice on sewing machine needles, I am pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and quantity of materials and accessories, I recommend this warehouse to everyone

Lynn is amazing, we visit most weeks and we have a knit and natter session. She's polite and hospitable and will always point us in the right direction for our queries. If she doesn't have it, she'll let us know where to go or order it in for us. She also never tries to pressure into spending the highest amount possible which just makes me want to buy more!! Highly recommended for anyone into knitting, crocheting, fabric craft or sewing

What a lovely shop! Lynn was so helpful and the variety of wool was so nice. I can't resist another purchase. Supplies beautiful fabrics too and I don't even sew but I go looking at them every time I'm in. My stash has grown but so have my friends group 💖

This shop was the best find ever! The most beautiful fabrics, yarns and just everything you will need. The lady who owns this is incredibly helpful and knowledgable - there is nothing she doesn’t know. I visit there frequently supporting such a valued local business. There is always such a nice friendly atmosphere from the owner and other ladies who visit. This is my favourite shop. It’s great to see it so used, such a feel of community..

A little hidden gem! The Jolly Stitcher has everything I need and more. Lynn is wonderful, alway so so friendly and beyond helpful with all my projects….and her pink hair makes my day! Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Recently found the Jolly Stitcher and I'm so glad I did! Lovely shop, fantastic range of fabrics, and nothing is too much trouble for the owner. I'm not knowledgeable when it comes to sewing and fabrics but she put me at ease and gladly gave me some tips after putting up with me rambling on! So lovely and welcoming!!

Fantastic service, and a great range. There was a wonderful group of ladies at their craft group all happy for a chat. I'm not a local, but I felt very welcomed.

This is a little gem of a shop tucked away in an industrial state in Fareham.
It caters for all things stitching and wool related and carries a great selection of accessories.
There is a fabulous selection of fabric and lots of examples of the shop owners (Lynne) beautiful stitching skills. A fabulous array of wools and embroidery silks are also carried.
I get the feeling that Lynne could give you the answer to any question you may have regarding your craft, she is also a great fun character full of banter.
I thouroughly enjoyed my visit and look forward to returning again.

On a side note if you are disabled like myself there are comfy chairs to rest on...always a bonus for me.

Had a very pleasant and productive visit today in searching for fabric for a quilt. Kind, patient and efficient customer service. Very knowledgeable, very on-point with information on materials, and completely unruffled by three people asking questions at the same time.

Will definitely go back as soon as we run out of fabric!

I cannot praise this shop highly enough. During this difficult time the crafters of Fareham and surrounding areas can still keep going due to free local delivery either ordered online or over the phone and those further away can still order online and the postage rates are very reasonable. The selection of fabrics is what keeps me returning again and again. Knitting, quilting, tools and haberdashery are all catered for in this treasure of a shop. In better times I know there are classes in different subjects as well.

What a gem :-). Was not at all disappointed when we finally found the shop. Did not seem to have much at first glance front of the shop until you go through another door and the fabric were all beautiful & reasonably priced. Only place I have been to that offers the fat quarter cut and not forced to buy a whole metre. Will be back in autumn to see the new arrival of fabric.

Beautiful fabrics and wool! Lots to choose from and a lovely space you dont feel like your rushed and you have so many different fabrics and wool! Customer service was fantastic!! Highly recommend to anyone looking for anything to do with sewing, knitting or anything creative!!

Great workshop yesterday with Ann Hellyer teaching an Introduction to Machine Embroidery. Jolly Stitcher owner Lyn provides a great venue with unlimited cups of tea etc, useful hints and tips and goes out of her way to sort problems and make you feel at ease. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the day and will be booking again in 2020. Can’t wait for the next workshops to be announced. Thanks so much to both Ann and Lyn. 😄❤

Tucked away around the back of the Fareham Enterprise Park (behind the Skoda dealership), but persevere and you will be rewarded with a little gem! My first visit and it won't be my last - just a shame it's 120 miles away!! Everything you could possibly need plus a very helpful Linda who runs the shop.
