Silversprings Garden Centre

The middle size garden centre (expanding all the time) offers the usual range of items expected of this type of commercial outlet but in a bright and airy setting. Lots of space between exhibits that are well distributed about the site.
Plenty of parking on a gravel area close to the road and buildings.
The separatey operated Cafe deserves a post all of our own. Fabulous.

After our Christmas holiday was cancelled 3 days before Christmas, we were on the hunt for a Christmas tree to cheer ourselves up. Sadly the shop was closed when we arrived but we tried the associated fencing merchant next door. After explaining our situation, the kind gentleman of the shop let us have one of the trees for free. Made our day, can't say thank you enough.

I'd also like to add the breakfast here at the cafe is brilliant. I regularly come here with my partner and we both love it. Highly recommended

Went on Mother’s Day with 3 generations of mums - ten of us there all together and food was lovely and hot 😀

Popped in here for the first time today, had a lovely lunch, it was really relaxing, and the staff were really nice, will definitely go back another time.

A lovely experience at the cafe today. As a coeliac, it was a treat to have a gluten free toastie! Bacon, brie and cranberry 😋 I also love the decor- very modern with a wooden/plant theme throughout. I just wish my house was as nicely decorated and furnished!

Popped in to have a look around the craft fair. Some interesting things worth a look free parking and free entry. I believe Santa pops in to visit his grotto too.

The garden centre had lots to offer flowers and shrubs in good condition ,restaurant large clean with good quality food.

Thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast this morning. Perfectly cooked bacon, poached eggs runny, proper tasty sausage and black pudding, vine tomatoes and the toast was made from fresh cut bread. - all piping hot. The whole place was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Little play area that kept the children occupied when they had finished eating so Mummy and Nana could enjoy another coffee. A real Sunday treat.
We bought our lovely garden furniture from the huge selection here last year but this was the first time we had visited the restaurant. We'll be back

A lovely place. Not too large. Not much to see unless you go to the restaurant, which is very good.

Had lunch in the Summerhouse, great food and great service.

To be honest, I only really come here for the restaurant! The garden centre is nicely laid out and plenty of things to look at, but the restaurant is the best thing about Silversprings! Lovely food & coffee, friendly staff, clean & tidy and lots of space.

Found a place where dogs are allowed to roam the whole area and can stay in the canteen, non carpet area only, service was also very good

Lovely garden centre but also held a Christmas market full of homemade items brilliant.

I can't wait for them to open their new restaurant. Imagine the views will be absolutely stunning. However I hope that they intend to have many vegan options unlike a lot of the garden centres. The way forward is a more civilized and cruelty-free planet. Cruelty should not be acceptable.

Update: I went here a few months ago and they made me a really nice sandwich. All the staff were lovely. First class service, great views, fun staff...

OMG. We went today for a Sunday brunch meal. We both had the Sunday roast - this was unbelievably FANTASTIC!!! Better than homemade. First - it was hot and on a hot plate, which made a huge difference. The meal was big, soft thick meat, gravy, Yorkshire puddings, stuffing, roast potatoes, 6 different vegetables and sauces. Everything was soo tasty and perfectly cooked - and HOT!!! My husband and I didn’t’t talk to each other - we were too busy eating. And all for £10!!! I would have happily paid double. The surroundings and staff were calm and welcoming. We walked around the garden centre and could see that there are big plans for Christmas. Please go here and enjoy the food in a beautiful open and airy cafe/restaurant. Absolutely TOP quality!!! Thanks you so much to all the team involved. :) :) :)

Been a few times recently only live 5 minutes away so very handy to take family and friends always found the food very good and served hot taking some new friends again this week on Friday I hope the enjoy it as much as my family do .

Very uplifting ambience.

The remodelled cafe, outdoor eating area and fenced children's play area is fabulous. I would have liked a better meal selection but my brie and bacon toasty was very nice. Good coffee too.

Becoming a favourite place, especially for a lovely toasted sandwich, but also a pleasant light and airy eating space, and great friendly service. I want to mention one lady in particular, I believe her name is Annie; she is warm and chatty to everyone, what a star!
