Located on the trading estate just off New Gate Lane opposite the Skoda Garage. The team as super helpful and professional. We have been using them for years. Now do car sales and there is always a good selection of cars.

I was really hesitant to buy a car from a dealer again as i'd previously had a bad experience. I enquired about a car and explained to Darren what had happened. He was open, honest and answered every question I had with as much detail as possible. He told me about the negative reviews on here and explained what really happened - which to be fair, he didn't have to do. We spoke for quite some time before i purchased the car, gave me plenty of time to think things through and answered another millions questions every time i spoke to him. When an issue arised with the car after I bought it, he got it fixed and sorted for me. Nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend.

Groupon service with complimentary clean. Got my car through its MOT. Have been back since with my Girlfriend's car for the same - service and MOT. Always does a great job for me!

Had my mot recently here.. great service.. they picked up some worrying faults from previous poor maintenance which I have now resolved..
The mechanics at bvs also fitted the new parts required on the back of the MOT not a good month for my bank but my cars now safety drive.
Would definitely recommend and will return again.

I bought a BMW from Adam @ BVS who was great throughout the whole process. Quick replies with information prior to my visit.
Gave me a quote for part-ex for my car (subject to an inspection).
The car was exactly as described and they gave my car a once over while taking the BMW for a test drive.
They honoured the part-ex price and we made the deal there and then. Very happy and would definitely recommend.

My car was in this morning, I used a groupon voucher deal for a service. Car also needed brake discs and pads doing. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and also cleaned my car inside and out! 😊

I had my car serviced and Mot yesterday and the service was excellent. Friendly warm staff who are very helpful. The car had a Valet as well which was in the price and l was very impressed. The car smelt clean and looks great. Very good price and I will definitely be back next year for the next service and mot and if l need any work in between l would highly recommend BVS Mechanics. Excellent garage. I used the groupon voucher after hearing lots of great things from people who had used it, and them. I payed £42.00 for the service and mini valet ( car wash and Hoover) then as stated on groupon, the extra charge for the oil (£30.00) they squeezed my car in around my work commitments and still got it back to me sooner than I expected. I can't fault them at all, as I said, I had heard a lot of good reviews from friends and work.
They are polite and helpful.

Right from my initial enquiry call he was helpful and understanding and he made me feel felt relaxed and confident when dealing with him. My wife and I both used the Groupon service and was quickly booked in and kept in contact throughout with any work that needed doing.

I followed up by booking for an MOT which was completed and called as soon as ready. Very reliable garage and would highly recommend

I got a voucher for a cheap air-con re-gas from Groupon, and got my car booked in for the coming Saturday. I took my car in, got a re-gas and took my car home. The next day it stopped working all together and I cursed myself for buying a cheap fix, but when I phoned BVS back he sounded quite concerned and told me to bring my car back for a check. They emptied the gas and rechecked the pressure, then refilled it again. It works fine after that (so far!), but I've been told that if it stops again that it's definitely the condenser, apparently a fairly common problem.

I left feeling reassured that I hadn't been ripped off and as though I'd almost certainly cost them money, given the considerable amount of time spent on me for the little value I bought my voucher for. The service was courteous, friendly and professional, and I'd definitely use this garage again after the service I received. Thank you!

Had my car MOT'd here last week. Had great level of service from the garage, they rang to advise what it had failed on and offered a quote before proceeding with the repair work. Very happy with level of service and will use again.

For 3rd time used a Groupon for the service with book signed, light reset and mini valet... and again, really pleased with service done, timings, advice, helpful,friendly, professional staff member.
Not made to feel pressurised to add or pay for anything else.

Great experience at this mechanics. Customer service is brilliant - Adam has a good understanding of our desperation when something unexpected goes wrong and does whatever he can to help out even squeezing our cars (Fiesta & Insignia) in on the day that we phone when it really is an emergency. Prices are reasonable given the level of service provided. When cars are being serviced, they also get a hoover and a clean which is a little bonus. We will certainly continue using BVS mechanics for the foreseeable future and highly recommend them to all and sundry!

Booked my car in for a full service. Purchased through groupon, they only charged extra for the oil, which was stated on the offer. Would recommend. Even got a mini valet included in the offer

My car has been very well looked after by BVS. First took it in last year ace had the brakes done, mot in Feb. Today I've had a service and aircon regas via groupon. Helpful and friendly staff. They've recently sorted out my husbands car too. Kept us informed of any issues. Very happy.

I dropped my car in to BVS Mechanics, Southern Ltd. for a a/c re-gas and system check. Top class service from a very friendly and welcoming team, who kept me informed of every process. They recommended a new filter for the a/c unit, which, when they showed me the clogged up old one...made perfect sense. New lubricant, pressure testing and re-gas and my car is colder than my fridge!!!

Highly recommended.

UPDATE: August 2017.

My a/c stopped storing milk, butter and yogurt after about 6 weeks, luckily my fridge was still available!!!

However, after I called BVS they inspected the system and discovered a seal had broken. They offered to do the work, re-gas and top up the system for a very reasonable price. I chose to wait until after my planned road trip to Italy. Let's hope that my decision to carry a full sized fridge/freezer on the roof, connected to the car, with power supplied, via solar panels...was a wise one!!!

Had a car service with BVS and can't recommend them highly enough. Called me to advise of work that needed to be done along with things they would recommend be done either now or in the near future but did not force the work be done now which is a nice change! I will definitely be using them again for future MOT and services
