The Malt Lounge and Bar

I offered the Koto afternoon tea to my husband as we like japanese culture. I was expecting a regular afternoon tea with a Japanese spin but boy I was wrong. First you enter the room which is like a slice of Japan with the decoration, the furniture, the architecture. Then you have the wonderful lady dressed in Japanese gear playing the traditional Koto. It put you in the ambiance right away. Then the tea was amazing and the food was heaven. Usually I found afternoon tea pretty average but the Japanese food and dessert were so tasty. Including the scones! There aren't that many tables so you feel intimate. And they serve you sake tasting as well. I definitely recommend! Very impressed! It's worth the price

This quaint looking bar is a gem in the marylebone area. Its Japanese infused flavours of cocktails are a delight. Portions of food is small but very tasty. The ambiance is classy and the service is top notch. The music is light so one can talk to each other in comfort. Good crowd.

Today, 3rd April 2023 - Monday, my friend and I went to this Malt Lounge to celebrate her birthday. The server's name, Hai and Edo, was so helpful, polite, and serving us professionally. The afternoon was amazing, and every dish was superb. The interior of the Lounge was very peaceful, quiet, private that give us the full benefit of enjoying our meal. I would like to thank all the staff at The Malt Lounge for their welcoming service. And I will definitely be going back again with other friends. Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful Japanese whiskey bar tucked away within the prince akatoki hotel. The bartenders are very friendly and will assist with recommendations. They have a great selection of bottles and can take the time to explain each whiskey and talk about origins etc. The decor is lovely and it felt like stepping into Japan. There are few seats so you may need to book in advance. You can order food here from the restaurant next door. The complimentary sides are also really really good. I had a great experience trying out a couple different whiskies and well as getting to smell a couple bottles that I might otherwise never have chosen.

One of the best in-hotel lounges I’ve been to in London, on-par with other five-star hotels with a modern Japanese Twist.

Stumbled upon this hidden Japanese Bar. The staff are very helpful, drinks are outstanding and the venue is very Japanese zen. Definitely a unique offering for London.

Amazing place just 2 steps away from Marble Arch.
The cocktail menu is unique and Francesco is a great host.
There's a good atmosphere for a date or drinks with friends, this is the Japanese bar that London was missing. I'll come back soon!

We went for a nightcap and had a great time. Tasty well-made cocktails, good whisky selection and super knowledgeable attentive staff. I had the Momo cocktail and it was amazing!

We went here twice on thursday and yesterday (30. april). Super lovely, great drinks and very friendly girl serving us. Would definitely go again next time.

Amazing cocktails and knowledge from Simone. The food was super tasty. I will definitely be coming back to try more cocktails as well as giving the whiskies a try. Looking forward to it!
