Definitely one of the best pubs in the area of Wandsworth. The service and food were amazing, we had brunch a couple of days in a row. All of their dishes on the menu are totally worth it.
The atmosphere during afternoons and evenings is superb.

The margaritas here are amazing, very strong and tasty. The food we ordered was ok. We ordered the steak. It had an amazing flavour and was cooked perfectly. The truffle hash browns could have been crispier but the flavour was nice. Overall atmosphere was good. Great place for a catch up with friends or even date night.
Will definitely be back soon to try the Sunday roast.

I’m not even sure where to begin! The Alma exceeded all expectations with their Sunday roast. The service, food, and ambiance were truly outstanding. We opted for the shared beef Sunday roast and a kids-sized chicken roast to try both options, and we were thoroughly impressed with the flavors and the perfectly cooked beef. Special thanks to Phil, the manager, for ensuring we had an exceptional experience, and to our waiter, Ezekiel. After indulging in a satisfying meal, I had the pleasure of staying just a few steps away in the pub hotel. I'll definitely be returning very soon. A huge thank you and a solid 10-star rating!

Our group was four adults and two children. The adults had the Thor Sunday roast which was superb.
I had three minor issues, one, being charged about £2-30 for plain soda water (we spent about £300) and the second was that the first two Irish coffees we got weren’t poured right. Ie cream mixed in. The third was I elected to buy our beers from the bar because that way I could make sure they were as full a pint as poss. So many bar staff (not just this establishment) don’t really know how to pour cask ale.
But as I said, these are minor points and the food was superb, I’d say the best Sunday lunch I’ve had in a restaurant/pubs for many years.
I loved the traditional interior and exterior of the pub.

Wow, what an experience!! We came in for Sunday lunch last weekend and was absolutely blown away by everything, from the amazing starters (we all dipped and dabbled but the beef tartare was the standout); followed by what is simply the most wow pub roast I’ve ever had, the Thor’s Hammer with all the trimmings - it was insane! The restaurant area was lovely and vibing, and we were well looked after by the fantastic Jack C, and Gosia who helped guide us to our table as the place was packed! We even had the head chef Jonasz come out and ask us how we were doing - just amazing hospitality, the whole team are such a dream. Will definitely be returning for more!

Really good Sunday Roast represented in 4 varieties. That crust on a potatoes is unbelievable. Quick service, welcoming staff. It feels like a pub community, you will see everyone here. Not expensive. Would definitely return and try other dishes.

The roast here is amazing!! I’ve never had such crispy potatoes and the Thor’s hammer meal was such great value and fed 4 of us with enough for leftovers. The service was also very friendly. Nic was particularly welcoming and made our meal experience very pleasant. Will definitely return as this is my new local.

Had a lovely time service was great Hayley was super attentive and helpful! Food was delicious we got the thors hammer to split between 4 people and it was more that enough ended up taking the rest home highly reccomend, potatoes were slightly on the salty side but the was the only downside.

We shared a Thors hammer beef roast for four and it was amazingly good. Plenty to go around. Much effort had gone on to all the different flavours. Top drawer roast. Lovely staff.

1st timing dining as recommended by a Insta blogger
Great venue nice and busy with seating at the back of the pub
Food was great although potatoes were a little salty - good portions and selection on plate
‘Mac & cheese’ was good ‘Pigs in blanket’ amazing although looked more like a ‘duvet’ 😀
Service on point
Our waiter was very friendly and attentive nothing was too much to ask of him (didn’t get his name 😐) All the staff were friendly
Would defo eat there again 👍🏼
Maybe eat less so I can have room for a Sticky Toffee pudding 😋

Spent my bank holiday Sunday afternoon at The Alma, and it was a great location to have a drink with friends. The atmosphere was buzzing and the bar staff were very efficient. Was great to meet Ben the big Kiwi lad behind the bar, his service and chat were top tier. Will be back again :)

Nick was a great server and the lamb was brilliant! Most pubs can’t really manage a good roast but this was the best I’ve had.

The ‘Thors Hammer’ sharing roast exceeded expectations. It was a showstopper. The succulent meat just fell from the bone and all the sides were super tasty. We were eventually defeated by the portions so went home with plenty of leftovers. We shared the platter between four adults but it could easily feed six or more. Maybe we should have skipped the starters 🤔 - although the milk bread with bone marrow butter is delicious. Decent Bloody Mary cocktails and choice of wines. We pushed the boat out with the Pauillac, which was pricey but scrummy. We’d be up for trying the ‘Whole Salt Marsh Lamb Shoulder’ next time - although we need some time to recover and to find some extra friends first.

I LOVEEEE this place!!!
Me and my family were served by curtis who was exceptionally funny and gave us a really warm welcome. The food was sooo good. We go thors hammer and shared between three of us and we had two boxes left of food to take home. Literally an amazing Sunday roast. Vibes were great and food was unmatched and not over seasoned.
