Francis Grove Surgery

Excellent practice and really helpful professional staff: GPs, receptionists, admin staff and physiotherapists. I can always get an appointment when I need to and they refer me for tests very quickly to check things out. I would totally recommend this practice to people new into the area.

They acted quickly when we most needed. The surgery staff understood our immediate needs and were fast to move our case along. Since then Dr. Mohan has been superb: very competent, personable, friendly.
Booking appointments is still a struggle, and I am sure there is lots of room to improve on that front.

Registered with the practice for over six years, and despite moving away from the immediate area, decided to remain with them.
I'm not a regular visitor, but have always been met with care and courtesy, with any follow up issues dealt with efficiently.
Yes, the NHS is under tremendous pressure right now, but Francis Grove is going above and beyond in what are difficult circumstances for them and their colleagues.

I saw paramedic Alexa today for a blood pressure reading. I was interested to hear about her role and how it also involves paying visits to patients as well. I appreciated that she was able to give me time to discuss some issues. I do feel fortunate being registered with Francis Grove Surgery as it is a very good practice.

I had exceptional service on Tue this week from Francis Grove Surgery. I called at 6.20pm for an emergency appointment and the doctor phoned back 5 minutes later. My daughter was diagnosed whilst on the call through a photo that was shared. The doctor then prescribed medication which I collected 10 minutes later from my local pharmacy! Incredible! Through this swift action we were able to prevent the spread of an infection to others whilst dealing immediately with the problem within the family. The procedures put in place by the surgery enabled efficient and effective communication, action and a very positive outcome. Thank you!

Everyone at Francis Grove is incredibly helpful - the receptionists, Doctors - everyone ! They are kind, compassionate and super-efficient, ordering and reviewing tests in a timely manner ! Highly recommended !

My GP at Francis Grove. Surgery goes well out of her way to help me. I have complex medical needs with various genetic conditions. She always responds to referrals and requests as needed. She has a really good ability to listen and respond even when the situation can be quite complex or even confusing. For the children I’ve also had Amazing service I feel the issues are responded to as quick as they can be & care is very good. NHS staff work incredibly hard, we’re going through a period of time in history where they are not supported. They are overworked but many of them do it because they are just really decent people and that’s how I feel about this surgery my GP in particular is excellent

A great practice, easy to get appointment via the contract is online option on the website. Excellent Drs and nurses. Reception are always polite and helpful in my experience too.

Using the triage option for appointments l was seen the following day by a GP. I couldn’t have had had a faster response, other than by phoning at 8am which is not always successful. Thank you very much.

I found my consultation with Dr Chaggers thorough and supportive. Had a follow - up appointment where we mad e a plan of action going forward and again a professional and courteous consult.

Shannon was really good. Expert nurse and had gone to get bloods done and was able to do it in 2 sec without even any pain. Expert at finding those veins.

Nurse Hannah "is simply the best"
Hannah has an outstanding level of HRT knowledge which in turn makes you feel safe and not alone in the world of Menopause which let's be honest is absolutely horrid for many of us women.

The doctors and service have been great the two times I’ve visited the surgery since moving to Wimbledon two years ago. I agree that calling at 8:00 for appointment on the day can be stressful and not easy but when you get through to the receptionists, they’re always helpful and able to find me a appointment slot on the day. Both the doctors that I saw last year (sorry forgot her name) and Dr.Blake I saw this time have been very helpful, thorough and considerable. The receptionist also helped changing my pharmacist to a closer to home one which was a lifesaver.
The only thing I would suggest is to make clear to all first time patients as they come in that they can sign in straight away on the digital screen located in the seating area. (A paper printed out above the screen may help? If there’s already signage, ignore me)

I have been with Francis Grove Surgery for 35 years and I have always received a high standard of care and follow up. Yes you have to wait for an appointment, you just have to be patient.

Francis Grove is an excellent GP surgery. I have only been with them for two years, but have always received the best possible service.

Dr Patel was very helpful and willing to see me on the same day for what I thought could have a very serious illness.

I have had two experiences recently where the team at Francis Grove went above and beyond for my sons. Dr Moss was very thorough in her assessment of my son before our trip overseas and even looked further into the situation with a paediatric team and did a follow up call which we weren’t expecting.
On another occasion, my other son needed a consultation before heading to nursery the following day and I had missed the window to get an appointment. Adele on reception went out of her way to arrange a phone consultation and Dr Patel was wonderful on the phone.

I was really happy with my appointment with Dr Ali Siddiqi who really took the time to understand my needs. The follow up by admin staff Kayeesha was also very efficient and helpful. Thank you
