We absolutely loved the experience. Stephen and his partner Michael made us feel welcomed from the start and showed us around, giving valuable insights into the art pieces in the house. The house itself has a lot of character and soul, and it definitely won't leave you indifferent. I'd definitely go there again! Thank you so much Stephen and Michael!

Superb art destination which is gloriously over the top, creative, moving, funny, scary and spiritual all at the same time. I could spend a whole day in this house and garden, admiring the mosaics, sculptures, dolls and images which cover the walls, floors and ceilings in a riot of colour and texture. Absolutely brilliant and completely unique.

Open days take place once a month here. It’s a really quirky and moving place to visit. So much to see! Stephen Wright the artist is very generous with his time to talk you through the museum.

We visited the House of Dreams roughly
one week ago and have to say it was a really positive experience. You get a visual overload but in a nice way and there is so much to see although the museum is not huge. Stephen and his partner Michael are really friendly and take the time to welcome you and talk to you about the house and about their lives in general. It makes it a personal and very special visit into their universe. Highly Recommended.

Very interesting, beautiful and wonderful. It was amazing to see Stephen’s life and the journey he’s been on portrayed through his mosaics and the art all over his house, his story is very sad, but the fact that he managed to take that sadness and make it into this gorgeous art is truly very inspirational. If you go, you should stay to watch the video, as it will explain everything and it will all start to make sense.

A little slice off eccentric madness in sleepy suburbia. Worth every penny to experience this space

It's like walking into the mind of the artist and seeing all of his thoughts all at once, it's overwhelming at times but always in an awesome way that keeps you constantly intrigued.
The artist and his partner are very welcoming hosts who have as much interest in the visitors as the visitors have in the house.
A unique experience, visually diverse and emotive

A unique place and like nothing else I have seen. Stephen and his partner Michael were very warm and accommodating. Stephens work is raw and unapologetic which is rare. I cried profusely at the emotiveness of his words shared on the walls.
For anyone who has been witness to the decline and eventual death of a loved one, his work is likely to resonate.
Definitely recommend and like others have mentioned , the short video helps to explain his concept.

This is such an unusual but unique place. The artist is fantastic with great character. For uniqueness this place is given a 10. You would never suspect it to be an art project from the outside but inside it is a WOW. Still on going work and well worth a visit on the open days.

So moving and poignant. A celebration of the so-called ordinary, the everyday, of people's lives, mixed with joy, sorrow and celebration. I can't stop thinking about it. Completely astonishing and inspiring.

It is a deeply touching experience. Somehow I left lighter and with a big grin on my face when I left.
