Holmwood Corner Surgery

We have been with Holmwood Corner Surgery for eight years and it’s the best. Amazing doctors and staff! When I put an online consultation in, it’s often completely sorted within 90 minutes, or we’re seen within the same day for an emergency or a reasonable time if not an emergency. 5 stars.

Thank you very much Daniel Super Hero, Ellen ( Daniel's mom) for your help, you went beyond the call of duty. As for the other member staff, thank you very much, unfortunately, I do not have all the names of the staff who have been helpful. If I had a power, I would recommend all of you will get the OBE.

My daughter scratched her eye which was bleeding and the care we received from the receptionist to the GP was incredible. She was seen within an hour and the GP went above and beyond to refer her to the eye A&E at St George’s which meant she was seen quickly. We have always had brilliant care from every GP/nurse at Holmwood and our experience today just proves how lucky we are to be patients here. We can’t thank them enough.

Considering I had previous cause to complain, I feel I must address the positive change in service, I feel compelled to compliment after todays experience for me.
5 star+ service starting with Daniel on reception and continuing with Dr Usmani, who I was fortunate enough to see
I so Hope for the sake of the patients and the continuing success of the surgery Dr Usmani is offered a permanent position at the surgery. He will most definately be an asset,
He is a Doctor dedicated to helping his patients get the best outcome with whatever reason they have to see him.
He takes the time to listen, and asks questions that may not at the time seem relevant, but actually turns out to be a turning point in a correct diagnosis.
His dedication to his profession results in his patient feeling assured they will get the best treatment possible. Even if that results in a referral.
PLESE OFFER DR USMANI A PERMANENT POSITION ALLOWING HIM TO WORK WITH SOME OF THE OTHER GOOD PRACTICE DOCTORS.
HE IS SO WORTHY OF THAT PLACE.

My Mother came to visit and unfortunately became unwell. I phoned the doctor and spoke to the Business Manager who registered my mother as a temporary patient. We completed a series of questions and she was booked promptly to see a GP on the same day. The GP we saw was so lovely, she examined my mum and treated her with kindness. All round excellent service received from Holmwood Corner. Thank you so much for the kindness you showed my mother.

My first appointment with a kind GP who actually listened and was kind and respectful in her response.
It's unfortunate that their NEW appointments procedure has to be done online Via their website as I'd always prefer to have a conversation with a receptionist to know I'm doing the right thing as my technology brain isn't the best, and is making me question whether I should continue to stay on their book's (even though I was very happy with the Dr who I saw, as she wasn't the Dr I was given upon first registering at the practice.)
Only time will tell as I still need to book a asthma check with a nurse...

Great service. Recently saw nurse Kelly (backed up by Dr Sarah) who organised a checkup and clear debrief of results. Also organised a follow up with Dr Peter which was quick and efficient. Professional team.

Fantastic surgery, never had any problems here at all and would highly recommend above other local surgeries I have had experience with in the past

We switched to this surgery over 3 years ago when we moved from Surbiton and we have had nothing but professional, courteous and polite service from the reception team and all the nurses/doctors we've dealt with. More recently with COVID-19 both vaccine management and follow up calls when requesting an appointment with a doctor by phone have been easy to book and dealt with in a sympathetic and efficient manner. I cannot speak more highly of them and when I read some of the bad reviews I do wonder how people have spoken to or demanded things of the staff to warrant the responses they've received. Treat people with respect and you'll always get the best from them!!!!

I joined this surgery about 1 year ago and I have total respect for all the staff, they are kind and professional. Recently I had a telephone consultation with Mrs Billington, the Advanced Nurse Practitioner, she listened to my issues and dealt with them accordingly, she made me feel confident in moving forward with my medical issues. Wonderful medical staff.

The doctors are very understanding and go beyond what’s expected. Very professional . I can see there are lots of issues with receptionists . I only spoke to them over the phone but had no issues. please bear in mind they are working way beyond what’s expected and everyone is really working hard during this pandemic .

Got an appointment the same day, receptionist was lovely and so helpful. The GP was very thorough.

Just had my flu jab, thank you to everyone for coming in on a Saturday to give us patients our jab. As usual excellently organised. We are so lucky to have such a great team of people who all make up our Doctors surgery. On behalf of my family and friends we all THANK YOU ALL you are a superb group of people.

The service has really been amazing from the surgery lately. always seem to get things done for me personally and when I call or message always feel they are getting things done as fast as they can and are warm

Brilliant GP ! Ive been to a few GPs over the years and these are by far the best. I've never had to wait long for appointments , doctors are very friendly and I feel they spend enough time with you , nurses and receptions are friendly too . Occassionally have to wait longer than appt times but given the current situation and how busy healthcare clinics arez I think that's fair enough. Great service , thanks team !!!

excellent surgery, quick phone response and appointments

Really excellent, got an appointment very quickly, Dr Ahmed was brilliant, very thorough, about a million times better than my old surgery.

Phoned at 8.30 am. Phone call back by 10.30 been seen by docs . MRI scan booked next day. Lady in reception was lovely. Thank you

I've received a really good care from this place every time I visited. Staff at the reception is very helpful and the doctor Anette was very sweet and lovely to my baby.
