Very diverse and well stocked store. Many different kinds of items ranging from clothing to decor to kitchenware.
Also very warm and friendly service.

Where to start. We've been visiting the store for years and the service has always been amazing and their products are just perfect.

We've been eyeing a Restor table for two years and yesterday we took the leap. I worked through everyrhing with Gina and then saw Scott in the downstairs warehouse to check out the accompanying bench and arrange shipping. I wasn't holding out any hope for a pre-Christmas delivery -especially since it was Dec. 22nd! But to my surprise Scott said that he and the owner, Glen, would deliver the next day seeing their delivery company was off for the holidays. Top level service!

And sure enough they showed up today, delivered and installed everything. Straight up wonderful folks.

Couldn't be happier with the table, the bench, the chairs and the install from Scott and Glen.

The Flying Fish is a locally owned treasure. What a great place to spend some time browsing through a wide variety of interesting, high quality kitchen, home decor, clothing and jewelry items. The friendly owners and staff are present, welcoming and helpful in just the right measure and tone. So glad they have weathered the pandemic storm. Make sure to support this great local business with a purchase of some kind when you visit!

I've been living in Nanaimo for about four years but, whenever I passed by Flying Fish by, I kept thinking that it is a furniture store. However, it turns out that this is a lovely cooking and baking supply store that has many of the kitchen essentials that I've struggled to locate in the various big-box stores around town.

The owners and staff are friendly and helpful, and the selection for most things is varied and fun. I expect I'll keep coming back here as I uplevel my cooking skills and I highly recommend this shop for angle looking for that one special tool or utensil.

What a beautiful store. Every time I go there, I am so happy. There are beautiful things, priced fairly reasonably for what they are. A lot of quality things!

This is one of my favorite stores to shop in. There is always something new to see, and they bring in lots of Canadian made products. The staff is well trained and so friendly. I have been in the store and heard other shoppers say this is my favorite store!

Fabulous store in every way from kitchenware to clothes to home decor to jewellery to furniture to linens! Just WOW - very reasonable prices and helpful staff. I so wish there was one on the Lower Mainland.

Excellent store. Very helpful staff. Very cool stuff that you would not find in other stores. You have to check out the huge card section. They have the funniest cards I have ever seen. Shop local!
