Dave was amazing! He was super sweet to my kids, showed us a million cars in the pouring rain, didn't push us to buy something above our price range, and was a sweetheart when I had to tell him we found something at another dealership. I would have loved to work with him - he was honest about literally every little thing and wasn't pushy and that goes a LONG way for me after dealing with a ton of super pushy car salespeople! Highly recommend

Service center was very awesome. Booked an appointment. Something happened & the booking didn’t show up in their system when I arrived the day of. However, driving 2+ hours to get there, they were very accommodating in fitting us in! Got all the things done on our car in the time frame they promised!

I had a very good experience with the staff at Wheaton Hyundai. Our Product Advisor, David Blayney, was exceptional! Very helpful, friendly and relaxed. I didn't feel pressured or manipulated like I have found common at other dealerships. Everyone we encountered and worked with treated us well and were helpful.

Recently walked in for a quick look on the lot. I was greeted by a very friendly salesman Josh. He proceeded to let me see any of the vehicles I wished and even encouraged me to sit inside. He explained features very thoroughly but I never felt pressured at any point in our interaction.

Had them put on a front license plate for me and was told there would be a small labor fee. They charged my $97. I asked about the price and they explained their standard fee to me and then offered me a $40 credit to my account. They were very friendly and quick to answer my questions!

Good service, excellent prices. Bonus: Wheaton gave my car a good cleaning. Thanks guys!

Tip: I like keeping my tires well inflated, e.g. 38-40 psi. The mechanics drained them down to 32 psi, so I had to spend time putting air back in later. They should first ask the customer before changing the tire pressure.

David Blayney was my sales rep. He was so easy to talk to. He listened carefully to what my needs were in purchasing a new car, took notes and then showed me the perfect vehicle. It's a Kona EV.(I swear the car was sitting there waiting for me to come along).He took me for a test drive and showed me the interesting features of a full EV. I had a great experience, looking at cars I dealt with a very pleasant and informed guy named I believe Joshua Lambert even though I decided to go with a different vehicle I highly recommend him and would definitely go and see him next time I want to buy a car. You could definitely tell that he has a love of vehicles and it’s not just a job for him. It’s a passion.

Near where I live we have a Hyundai dealer but their customer service is awful. I therefore contacted this dealer in Nanaimo and wow, what a difference! The Duncan dealer told mer I would have to wait over a month for an appointment to figure out what the weird sound was coming from our 2021 Kona electric. Called the dealer in Victoria, three week wait. Called Nanaimo (Wheaton) and everyone was professional and gave me an appt in 5 days and were so pleasant to deal with I am in the future going to take my car there. Even if it is a longer drive it will be worth it!

After having enjoyable experiences at 5 dealerships I was immediately struck by the friendly smile, farm boy freshness and aura of honesty about David Blayney who proceeded to tick off the features I was needing/wanting in a car. Although I ended up changing my mind quite radically from my first ‘list’, David patiently took it in stride, explaining and demonstrating the many new-fangled features of another vehicle. I was loaned another vehicle so I would not have to rent one while I organized my finances, and the car I chose was given undercoating. The finance and insurance people were very patient and thorough, I was introduced to every department, and David even picked me up from the car rental. He continues to be very helpful in answering my many operational questions. The stress involved in the decision making involved in making a major investment after 16 years of loving my former car was greatly eased by my experience at Wheaton Hyundai!

We purchased our 2021 Hyundia Palisade just over a week ago and we absolutely love it. Still getting used to everything it has to offer as it was a big upgrade for our family. Just bought the 2022 Elantra ultimate (white), had the best experience, all the people working at the dealership are so polite and kind, they are very transparent about their prices and everything, not like other dealerships these days, David was our salesperson, great guy, very respectful and smart, the finance and the sales manager were also so welcoming. Would highly recommend this dealership.

I just want to give a shout out to the entire team that I dealt with while purchasing my Santa Fe! This whole process was smooth and comfortable. Ben was the most respectful salesman throughout my car shopping experience, it finally felt like it was my choice to purchase the vehicle of interest rather than it being pressured on me like some other dealerships were. The lady who helped me with the financing was amazing and so was the woman who did my insurance. (Forgot their names right now but they were just lovely!) My battery had gone flat and I had the vehicle towed from Parksville. I was impressed how quickly they started working on the car, communications from the service department were excellent, and it was repaired before I expected. The best Hyundai dealer on the island from my perspective, and I have visited most of them. And my Ionic 5 was completely charged when I picked it up.

I bought a Hyundai Kona EV recently and had a very good experience with Wheaton. David Blayney was particularly helpful.
