Thanks Daniel !!! I was in desperate need of some garden supplies and although the on-line stock said it was available, it was not on the shelf. Daniel asked what I was looking for and despite inadvertently coming close to closing Daniel went all the back into storage and got what I needed which was really heavy. What a great employee. Will be shopping there more for sure.

Great selection. Staff accessible and eager to help. The store is bright and organized. Lots of home improvement opportunities.

We were looking for a couple of pedestal units for our new washer and dryer. They were incredibly hard to find, and we would be looking at waiting a few months. Carl at the Nanaimo Lowes really came through for us, and offered an immediately available and affordable option that was better than we could have expected.
Kudos also to Aaron and his crew for helping to get the items to our car and loaded up in a fast and friendly manner.

I just got my new granite counter tops from Lowes, for my kitchen and bathroom. I love them! Sasha gave me a very competitive price. The guys who came to measure and install them were polite, efficient and did a great job! Well done!

Great service. Knowledgeable staff. Helpful and Informative. I came here to buy a blackout blind and knew nothing about them. I was assisted by both Jason and Mesbah over my three visits, 1 time to purchase the blind and 2 times to have it trimmed. Both men went above and beyond answering all my questions. Thank you, both for all your help. It is greatly appreciated.

My wife and I recently bought a fridge at the Lowe's location in Nanaimo. It was an excellent experience from beginning to end. First, the selection of fridges was very good and well-displayed; they were easily accessible to more closely check them out. Second, Carl, the sales associate, was knowledgeable about the various products and clearly communicated the strengths of each fridge as well as the various steps in the purchasing process plus options regarding warranties. Further, he patiently answered all of our questions about the fridges and what was needed to prep our current fridge for replacement on the day that the new unit will be brought in. We walked away with the fridge we think will be perfect and feeling very good about the purchase thanks to Carl at the Nanaimo Lowe's.

I met this gentleman at Lowes called Hamza who welcomed me with a smiling face at customer service and was very helpful in explaining the various prices and products. I was very happy and impressed. Good job, guy!!!

I wanted to revamp our front door and was clueless with paint options. However we were very lucky to have Armin helping us out. He was friendly and knowledgeable, made us feel supported :)

Good location at Nanaimo North Town Centre, where the Target used to be, on bus routes and with lots of parking. Visible from the old Island Highway, between Rutherford and Oliver, but most easily accessed from Uplands. Excellent washrooms, pleasant and professional staff. The wide range of products here include lumber, summer furniture, riding mowers, trees, flowers, and gardening supplies, bathroom fixtures, major appliances, and hardware -- check out the catalog online.

You may see Rona trucks at the loading dock. There are signs around saying that this store will eventually be rebranded from Lowe's to Rona.

Lowes at Nanaimo B.C. Have fabulous workers. Needing assistance there are associates there to help and if they are unable to help they find someone to help. I was there today and the help that James gave was exceptional. Walked through the store and showed us where we would find every thing we were looking for. Poor to James there was a fellow with a beautiful accent that helped us find the right bolts and screws we need for our products. So thank you to both of you fine gentleman for your assistance.

Been to Lowe’s couple of times since moving to Nanaimo & always found what I was looking for by the help of staff . I am the kind who doesn’t like to be constantly interrupted in my thought process while shopping for my projects and only look for help if & when needed. I ‘ve always found Lowe’s staff nearby with excellent customer assistance. Today I met Jason who was working despite of New Year and helped me with utmost patience , politeness & efficiency. I was very moved by his calm demeanour and cordial style. Thank you Jason for guiding me today for my Hardware shopping.

I love Lowes - it's great. I buy my plants there.
They have a section for everything! Even blinds -let me tell you I enjoyed the blind section thoroughly!
I drew on the the fridge door (not vandalism (I would never do that, it's illegal--- never vandalize kids) - it was a fridge with a touch screen and everything!)
Ten out of ten would love to go back - probably will, again I buy my plants there.

I went to a North End home improvement store, it only had 1 type of wall plates I needed and they were erroneously out of stock.

I then went to Canadian Tire and they were closed. Luckily I noticed Lowe's is right beside Canadian Tire and they not only had stock, but they had 3x the wall plates, better prices and I could even find closer matching colors given the amount of choice.

Next time I'll just go straight to Lowe's, I was pleasantly surprised.
