Dinner at the Guthega Inn was delicious. We went all out with the Tomahawk steak dinner and were very happy with the result. The steak was cooked perfectly, the roast vegetable sides generous, the greens beautifully crunchy, the salad fresh and lightly dressed and the gravy a pleasant surprise.
Staff were attentive and polite but not overbearing.
Didn't have room for dessert but a schnapps - Wild Brumby of course - rounded out the meal nicely.
If you're heading to Guthega give yourself a treat and have a good meal.

A nice gem to visit in the summer (and presumably winter) in the delightful and tiny village of Guthega.

Dinner of steak and sides was delicious, being prepared and cooked very well using excellent quality produce. Not the most budget friendly place, but well worth it for the quality, service, and location.

Service was very friendly and attentive. Will be back!

Stopped in for a mid-hike beer and it was so nice we ended up staying for lunch, dinner and then stayed the night! The team are amazing, food is delicious, rooms are perfect and view is incredible. Would definitely recommend a stay during the summer for beautiful hiking!

Guthega Inn was the perfect choice for lunch with my daughter on the weekend. The service, atmosphere & view, all amazing! We loved the barramundi burger and the chicken schnitzel was the best we’d ever tasted. Couldn’t fault a thing and would highly recommend you give this place a try

Spent a brilliant long weekend with a group of friends. Location, rooms, service, activities in the area and the host were all brilliant. Outstanding restaurant where we were treated to a number of great meals capped off last night with a feast highlighted by magnificent Jacks Creek Ribeyes (cooked beautifully). Thanks Brad and team for a wonderful few days.

Had lunch here with my family and it was just unpretentious good food, both quality and extremely well cooked. We shared a tomahawk which was quickly devoured by all. It came with a generous serving of vegetables, salad and sauce and the whole dish represented great value given the calibre of cooking and produce. We look forward to returning again!

We recently enjoyed a couples weekend with lifelong friends at the Guthega Inn.
The food and wine at the restaurant was outstanding along with the friendly bar and wait staff.
We experienced some great local walking tracks and will be back to take on the ski fields this coming winter. A big shoutout to Brad and staff. Thanks again

We stayed for a long weekend with a group of friends and absolutely loved it. The food and rooms where both first class with great service as well (no request was too big or too small). I can highly recommend visiting in summer as we did with bush walking and mountain biking available. This place wont be a secret for much longer.

We decided to venture off the beaten track and see what Guthega has to offer.
We discovered Guthega Inn by sheer chance and were absolutely smitten.
A journey back in time, beautiful ambience, Bautiful views, the perfect play list and Amazing staff. Very accommodating, fantastic service. We ordered the scotch fillet and the meals were excellent, cooked to perfection.
We stopped for a coffee, stepped back in time and spent the day. Definitely did not want to leave, a rare gem.

We stumbled into the Guthega Inn for a coffee before doing the Charlotte Pass walk. The service was so friendly and the pre hike muffin so delicious, we came back for dinner and the night. Amazing views, fresh and excellent meals and the great service continued. What an amazing place to stay. Thank you!

Brad looked after us, kept the kitchen open when we were a bit late finishing the Charlotte’s to Guthega walk. Great food, beautiful view, old school alpine bar and restaurant. We didn’t stay overnight but checked out the rooms, which are beautiful.

Absolutely can't recommend this place enough! I came here with a group off mates on our annual motorbike trip and stumbled upon Guthega Inn. The service felt like it was a family run business. For dinner we had the amazing Tomahawk steak. Best steak I've ever had. If your in the area can't recommend this place for food and a stay enough. We will be back

This is as much a heartfelt thanks to the owner and staff as it is a review.
I descended the mountains to Guthega Inn battered from a couple of days hiking following a horrendous night of storms in a tent on my solo expedition through the alps. Had the weather not turned so violently with night approaching and were the last part of the trek not so difficult, I’d have had time to stay the night in these salubrious digs sooner, but alas time did not permit.
Despite arriving looking like a drowned rat and struggling with my words, I was so warmly greeted by the most hospitable owner (whom sadly I didn’t get to thank in person on my departure!).
There I enjoyed a most delicious, hearty meal while I recovered and my clothes dried. I struggled to select from many competing delicious options on the menu, and clearly many people had ventured from all over to stop by Guthega Inn for their lunch: a perfect interlude on a day of activities in the warmer and of course colder months.
I wish I could have stayed longer, relaxing in the comfort and warm surroundings of the Inn and friendly people as the fog lifted (or better still, stayed a night). And very much on that note, last but certainly not least, a special thanks to Summer who was a most welcoming host as I slowly thawed out.
Thank you for your hospitality and kindness.

What a wonderful stay I had. This place had a very cosy and homely feel to it. Great staff and service. I stayed for two nights and they gave really helpful advice as to the best walking trails and hikes to do. I recommend ordering the Arancini and chicken burger at the restaurant. I look forward to going back in the winter for some skiing.

So warm and hospitable! Lamb was amazing. Service above and beyond. They even set up a movie for the kids so the adults could eat in peace.

It was our first time in Guthega, but definitely not our last. We enjoyed the location and Guthega Inn so much, that we're planning to return every winter for a week of skiing. The location is fantastic and the Inn is brilliant. It's very close to a T-bar and walking trails. It's very cosy, it's clean, has a great vibe, serves great food and has wonderful staff who make you feel welcome and at home.
To tell you the truth, I'd like to keep this beautiful spot a little secret, but go on, check it out for yourself, you won't regret it.

Had lunch at Guthega Inn and the service was phenomenal, the staff really go out of their way for you to make sure you enjoy your time there and you can see how hard they work.
The views are incredible, and the food and beer are both reasonably priced and fantastic after a day on the slopes.
Will definitely be back!!

Enjoyed an absolutely magnificent meal at the Guthega Inn. Great service and friendly staff. Tomahawk steak is the best on the mountain if not in NSW - highly recommend. Wine list also paired very well with the menu. We’ll be back again !
