Thredbo Burger Bar

I loved this burger bar so much so that I ended up having dinner there on every night I was in Thredbo.
Both times I had the same option, the Plain Jane, which is delicious.
Coffee also is good.
You can seat inside or outside.
If the weather is good, I'd definitely recommend to seat outside on the balcony from where you can see the lots of greenery, the river, and mountains.
Good service good.

Great spot for our lunch today with those views and everything else! We had burger, wings with spicy sauce option and fries, and all were great. The service was definitely warm and friendly. Really recommend this place when you're in the area.☺

Nice place to go for dinner, slightly overpriced but that’s what is expected in Thredbo. Owner was very friendly and really talkative. Views from the corner table were lovely. Only complaint would be the chips, could have been left in the fryer for a bit longer as they were not completely golden.

Firecracker burger is amazing! It is a must try if you can handle spicy burger! The kids menu burger is not good, don't opt for that. The drinks are good, would recommend firecracker and beer! The chicken wings and onion rings were delicious!

Really tasty, yum burgers, personally don't get the charcoal buns but great tasty burger. Chips were ok and Fantastic view of the river and mountain side.

In all of Thredbo this was our favourite! The staff were more than brilliant the guy with the hair bun, he was the best we tipped him and he was at our table as soon as we needed something. He was probably the nicest person we met the whole time we were there. The service was 10/10

I am ceoliac and oh my gosh… the gluten free buns are expensive ($4 more) but so worth it. We came back again because the first time was so good. Best GF burger I’ve ever had!!!!

A must do in Thredbo Village; friendly service with an extensive range of char grilled burgers; great Alpine atmosphere and quality kids menu as well, thoroughly recommended!

Where do I start. It's located near the tennis court so pass the shops and main area. It's at the Riverside Cabins. It's worth the trek! Hubby and I were ravenous after our hike to the top of Mt Kosciusko and this was a fantastic reward. We ordered the Blue Cheese burger and chicken buffalo bill with sides of sweet potato chips and red onion rings. We smashed it. It was soooo good. The best burger we've had in the area! We could not fault anything. My chicken was char grilled and I loved the taste of the char. Hubby said his burger was cooked perfectly and seasoned well.. Even the sides were spot on the onion rings were perfect just crunchy and soft and sweet inside and so were my sweet potato fries. We had a nice spot outside too with river view! Service was great too. Super efficient and friendly. It wasn't the cheapest but was satisfying. Will def be back! Thank you for the great food and service. Keep it up!

The most enjoyable place to eat dinner in Thredbo hands down. Various tasty Burger options, decent portions, great friendly and efficient service and sensible prices. Atmosphere is relaxed yet lively without being loud. There is a reason it's necessary to book, lots of people come back more than once per holiday! Don't miss the exceptional onion rings!!

I would highly recommend the truffle (beef) burger! The beef patty was tender and cooked to a nice medium rare, dripping in the truffle aioli sauce. All their burgers are served on gourmet charcoal sesame buns. The skinny fries were fairly average and unseasoned - definitely order a sauce to go with it. My friend’s ordered sweet potato fries and onion rings, which were both better quality. Acidic and crisp, the dry pink lady apple cider paired nicely with the meal.

One thing that my friends and I found ambiguous was the way the menu was written. It led us to believe that the side (of fries) came with the burger. Instead of sharing between 2, we all got our own pot of fries. Unfortunately, we couldn’t finish it all and that led to a lot of food waste. I wish the waiter had pointed this out to us at the start.

Definitely try to book in advance if you want to dine here for a weekend dinner. While it is not a cheap meal, nothing at Thredbo is. Overall, I liked this place and I would come back ☺

Cosy, Comfort food. Perfect spot for dinner if you’re in Thredbo. Food was perfect, served quickly too. We had our 15 month old with us as well and it was all perfect. Well priced for the area as well. The staff were super friendly from the minute we walked in until we left.

Super friendly and hospitable staff, you could clearly see the effort and care they took to make you feel at home and make sure you had everything you need. I have severe allergies and they were super helpful and on board with it! They made sure I felt safe and assured that I was able to eat delicious food that was also safe for my allergies. Lovely cozy atmosphere with pub-sized meals that was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!

Fantastic Burger’s and Kids meals. Went twice and had the heart attack burger both times. Still living to tell the tale and it is fabulous. My wife loved the sweet potato fries.

Best hot wings (buffalo style) in Australia. Not kidding. And one of the best burgers I've had in Australia for sure. We were extremely lucky to find this place as all the other restaurants here are well reviewed but not that good.

Don't worry about the black bun, it tastes just like a regular bun (they call it a charcoal bun, it's a popular concept here, but doesn't taste at all like charcoal).

A delicious meal after a long day of hiking, just a short walk from the chair lift. Make sure to book ahead as it does get quite busy.

Bloody brilliant place to have a spicy burger and cold beer. If you like a spicy burger order the fire cracker with a side of their sweet potato fries 🍟🍟
