Thredbo

Thredbo is a breathtaking, natural, beautiful, and relaxing retreat. I loved travelling on the chair lifts to the top of the mountain and experiencing the spectacular views. The local food/dining is expensive as the village has no competition. There is a daily fee to enter the Kosciuszko National Park. Overall, I give it 5 Stars.

Great part of Australia. Going up there at the moment is really lovely. You get a good idea of the landscape and the picturesque view of Thredbo village from up the top of the ski-lift.

Thredbo is a beautiful place. Winter season sports like skiing and summer sports like mountain biking. Plenty of open space to enjoy whatever the weather. Thredbo has always been one of my favourite places to visit, especially if you love the outdoors. A definite must visit this place if planning a holiday.

Excellent place, we spent two full days, we tried chairlifts, bob sledding, cycling, hiking, leisure centre, and different free kids activities.
Thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

Thredbo is an interesting place to visit. Very much caters for tourists. MTB during summer and Ski during winter. Leisure centre, golf course, walks, parks etc. Theres alot of fun to be had all year round.

Mountain biking in Thredbo in summer is a lot of fun. Staff are phenomenal friendly people. Shout-out to Kenzie from the MTB retail for going out of her way and orgnising a bike for us so we can compete in Cannonball 2024. You're a legend Kenzie, thank you so much!

Great that they run the chairlift, restaurants, and activities all year round. Definitely worth a visit. I found the staff very friendly and helpful.

In Winter time this area is one of the greatest for snowboarding and skiing with endless tracks for all beginners to advanced. We come here every year for children discovery!

Awesome place for kids and adults. Good skiing but toboggan is not allowed here. Lots of street parking but best if you stay at the spot. Great view, no worry for parking, just walk into the snow.

Thredbo is lovely this time of year, not as crowded.
It is probably the only true alpine village in NSW and even Australia

It was the 1st time we went for skiing at snow mountain at Thredbo, a couple of years ago we went to Perisher and my son enrolled beginner lesson there. I need to say in this July, Thredbo gave me a surprise - my son enjoyed skiing very much after following the fantastic coach Caden, his skiiing level improved from level 2 to level 6 just after the 5-days adventure camp! Caden is not just fulfilling his job but he also led the boys to love snow sports and he made it. My son is eager to go for skiiing and hope to follow Caden again!

It was good going up the mountain with my support workers they need to run a bus all year round not just winter

Well organised .. gets busy quickly like any another ski place .. best to reach early if you want parking closer to the ski field .. or else catch the shuttle which runs frequently…
Gondola service is nice add-on .. book it before your visit .. it’s gets sold out pretty quickly …nice place to visit

This place is amazing. Everything and everyone is nice, the vibe, the atmosphere and nature is outstanding. The only problem i had was parking area, and because of lack of 🅿 you need to use the local transportation which is mini buses and they are always packed. Overall i would come here again.

Incredible, the food at night available is either very expensive fine dining or kebabs and pizza! Skiing is good. Personally think you need minimum 2x days
