Housing Tasmania

We are always grateful that we have a roof over our heads and a house that is serviced when needed from them for no cost. OK, we may have to wait, but yesterday morning upon ringing about a leaky tap, and understanding that it may take a longer time as it is not a high priority, we were greeted by Jason in the afternoon and he had fixed it in 5 minutes! I have always had polite experiences with all contacts there. The hint is....BE NICE!!!! They are doing us a service and WE are the lucky ones with shelter.

my 84 year old mother has had trouble with her next door neighbor since 2019, she has damaged my mothers property, constantly calls her names that i would not put on here and we are now going for our second restraint order. at the moment we only have a interim order and she has already broken it twice. still nothing has been done. my mother has been living in the same house for over 33 years and has not bothered housing for anything that is not essential, and has never had this problem before. her health is now at risk. still nothing done.

Been on the urgent housing waitlist for nearly 4 years now.
Even applied to be apart of their private rental scheme and still nothing.
They'd rather house drug addicts then help people who need it

Been having the same problem with my next door neighbours since I moved in 2020 and nothing has been done and I am getting over it.

they have done nothing about next door neighbours and we are getting sick of them they are trying to draw attention to them selves so people take notice of them
