Fish Frenzy

If you are after seafood and in the area, I would definitely recommend it. However it is on the pricey side for fish & chips.

Grilled market fish (blue eye) with Greek salad ($42) and grilled scallops with Caesar salad ($34)

Had an amazing meal at Fish Frenzy.

We sampled the natural oysters (which were fresh, creamy and tasted of the sea), the seafood chowder (full of creamy seafood goodness and best thing on a chilly day) and the 'Fish Frenzy' (mixture of fish, calamari, scallops and chips).

All the dishes were cooked well. Service was friend and efficient. The restaurant was clean and airy - what you'd expect from being on wharfside.

All in all, a great experience and would recommend!!

Absolutely amazing food. Got fish with salads. And my partner got fish soup (fish chowder). Quiet place where to sit. Great view over the harbor. Soup, fish, salad, wine, pepsi- Paid like 60$.

Delightfully fresh seafood and perfectly cooked!! Enjoyed our fish and chips lunch here on a sunny day with cold beers. We also got the chilli and lime prawn skewers which were so good!!

The scallops were sold out, so I guess come in early for those.

No fuss, efficient service, this is a no frills place but I don't want or need much more when I'm there for the food and view.

If you sit outside you're right by the water and there will be gulls for company, but these birdies were definitely better behaved than Sydney ones!

This is by far one of the best (if not THE BEST) fish and chippery in Australia. Fresh seafood deliciously converted into awesome dishes by the diligent hands of well devoted cooks at a reasonable price make this place the best easy-to-eat place in Hobart. Friendly staff checking on you asking you about the quality of your meal only assures a return visit.

A beautiful chowder, an impressive Bouillabaisse and some great nicely fried Flake was what we had and I wouldn’t doubt about having it again and again.

Fantastic feed and coeliac friendly! If you order a gluten free meal, they'll make the entire table gluten free too, to prevent cross contamination. Gluten free chips and fish were incredible.

Had a nice Lunch. Excellent Food, Service and Location. Try it out, you won't be disappointed.

The customer service here is exceptional.

I accidentally spilt my friends wine which ended up getting into some of the food. They replaced the wine and the food free of charge despite us being adamant to pay. The staff workers here are so kind and generous.

The food here is also great quality and the portions are big. Oysters are fresh and the dressing complements them well.

I highly recommend. The least I could do is leave a positive review.

Ordered the $140 dish for 3 adults and one kid. Tasty and fresh product. Attentive staff. Good area in the outside, really nice when it’s sunny. The restroom could’ve been cleaner. Kid friendly, good amount of quality food and affordable prices.

We went for the grilled options and they were delightful to eat.

The chowder was also tasty and had a decent serving.

All in all, a good day to dine outdoors on a perfect November day 😋

Trust them with your fish and chips craving. Went for late lunch so good options to sit inside or outside. Staff were friendly and happy to give tips on what to order. We had the flathead fish and chips (tempura) and grilled salmon on salad. Both were great! Child friendly they have a babychair which is a bonus. Casual dining you order at the counter, grab your own drinks, etc. But as long as it's not a problem for you lovely food, well plated, would recommend. *Bonus - They have proper malt vinegar and salt on the table just like I'd have back in the UK.

The best fish n wedges in Tasmania

Probably one of the best fish and chips in all of Hobart! The fish, chips, calamari and scallops were fried to perfection and the portion of chips particularly, was more than plenty! I sat by the serene waterfront and docks to have my meal, and the experience was simply memorable. Worth the slightly higher price than other fish & chips places in Hobart. The staff were attentive:)

We had the seafood platter which was so amazing, highly recommend it.

Caters to food allergies with attentive and genuinely kind service. Many gluten free options. I'm allergic to onion and they made adjustments easily as it is freshly made to order. The freshest of the fresh seafood. You won't experience oily chips either. Bloody delicious. I will be back. Would give more than 5 stars.

I had a battered fish and salad, partnered with a glass of cider. Perfect way to spend a lunch time!

Fish Frenzy is located right on the wharf front overlooking the ocean, really is a fabulous location and stellar view.

Staff where polite and helpful, service excellent and fish cooked to perfection! Salad was also lovely, perfect size; I left feeling happily contented and not over full.

Would happily come here again, a recommend from me!

Yum yum yum ! Potato wedges were divine. The lovely waitresses helped with my food allergies (gluten and dairy free) and I really enjoyed my food plus the relaxing atmosphere of the shop which was topped of with the stunning harbour view. Love it

Service was great. Casual dining at its best. Reasonably priced. We are from Sydney snd would recommend anyone wanting a great meal to simply pop in.

We’ve been to Fish Frenzy quite a few times during our stay. The seafood we tried were very good in general. The calamari is so fresh and tender without being over chewy. Highly recommended for seafood lover.
