One of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! Fish, shrimp, scallop, squids and chips are all good. Tartare sauce and lemon both really good matching. Also you can’t miss the seafood chowder here. It was really tasty and generous portions. Had an amazing seafood dinner, thanks!

Mures Lower Deck had outstanding service. The food also came fast and cooked to perfection. My favourite dish was the spicy mussels and the chicken nuggets and calamari. The fish was also a delight to our mouths. I highly recommend also trying the delicious ice cream. There are many flavours, but the sorbet flavours were my top favourite. So, if you want a fun breakfast, lunch or dinner, this is the place for you.

Affordable place for quick, easy, high-quality and fresh fish and chips. I had the pink link which went nicely with a bit of salt, pepper and the house-made tartare sauce. Fished off with the best raspberry sorbet I've ever experienced - extremely flavorsome. The only problem is how popular it is - the carpark can get quite full, making it difficult to find a spot.

This place operates as a counter service restaurant with a wide array of seafood options. The prices are incredibly reasonable and affordable.
They provide both indoor and outdoor seating options. The atmosphere resembles that of a canteen, adding to the casual dining experience.

Down at the docks you'll find all the vendors on the water selling cooked food or seafood you can take home but the Mures has you covered on all bases. Love the selections oysters, lobster and Prawns. If you're lucky enough to score a table outside enjoying the view you'll also be provided with an effective weapon to eat in peace 😊

This seafood cafe/ collection of food outlets on the waterfront in Hobart. After wandering around beautiful Constitution Dock, I found MURES a perfect place to enjoy a seafood lunch. Self serve area suited me and I scored a table with a great view over the dock.

Been here many years ago. Ordered my favourite fish and chips again and it didn’t disappoint me. Fish is fresh and not too oily. Chips portion is large. Crisp Caesar salad and lightly battered scallops tasted great. Gets really crowded during lunch time. But it’s worth the wait. Great coffee too which comes with little surprises .

This is a nice place to eat with reasonably priced food. The ice cream bowl (triple) was insane value for $6.50 and we couldn't quite get our heads around how much ice cream you got that for that price (seemed like a kilo). The hot food was delicious and the location is good too.

Great place to come for top shelf dry freshly shucked pacific oysters. They're not washed in tap water like they do in a lot of places so retain a great saltiness. The bar has decent beer selection from Bruny island, which is a great match.

Good seafood and very reasonably priced for very popular cafeteria style eating. Lucky to get a table and had to source 2 extra seats for 5 people. We had our first scallop pie in Tassie here but were disappointed there were only 3 scallops in it. Seafood pizza was delicious. Ice cream was generous and enjoyable.

Oysters, so fresh and delicious- tasted of the ocean. The special marinated fried fish was melt in the mouth, plus many chips. Great side salad, leafy greens, 3 colours of capsicum, cucumber, tomato, carrot and red onion, vinaigrette dressing. Seafood basket, delicious, completely demolished by hubby. Very reasonable prices, friendly staff, and quick service. 10/10

Ordered the platter, some oysters and a seafood chowder (was pretty much fish chowder actually. With little or no other discernible seafood).

Sat outside as the atmosphere was nicer. Great views and was kept entertained by the seagulls :P

Affordable and enjoyable.

This is an absolute must if you are in Hobart. You wander the docks to be welcomed by this beautiful building. Curious, you walk into a beautifully lit, comfortable and friendly restaurant atmosphere of the lower deck of Mures. Your eyes are transfixed on the various seafood on display; oysters, prawns, scallops, crayfish and so much more. You jar your head at what people are eating at their table wondering what on earth you are going to order. I get the fisherman’s basket for one with a curried scallop pie. And boy it didn’t disappoint. If you have survived the delicious food explosion and have room for more….There is a seperate area for ice cream.

Folks. If you wander the docks and feel curious, Mures is the place for you.
