Room For A Pony

I have been meaning to go to Room for a Pony for a while now and I am So Glad we finally did!
Cian, who served us, was Very Friendly and Attentive. The food was quick and hot and tasty.... the only small downside was it was quite echoy in the room we were sat in so I would like to try outside!

This place is so fantastic. We came for brunch. The kids had raisin toast and a cinnamon bun. My wife and I shared the Rosti with poached eggs. Absolutely delicious - all of it. I will be coming back tomorrow for another try!!

The food here is amazing! We got the Wood Fired Meatballs and the Capricciosa Pizza. Absolutely delicious!
My husband orders pizza everywhere we go and reckons this is the best one he's had in a VERY long time. The fresh ingredients really shine through and they are very generous with the cheese. Everything else looked incredible too!

Fun fact: This cafè was a former gas station so its location is very centric and accessible. It has accessibility for people with reduced mobility and it is kids friendly. Competent and resourceful staff. Good pricing and good food. We’ve ordered 3 coffees, 1 cookie and one veggie plate (rösty) and the check was $45. Room for a Pony is an amazing cafe in Hobart that I would highly recommend. The space is perfect for family gatherings or events, and the coffee and food are out of this world! But what really sets Room for a Pony apart is their exceptional customer service. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and appreciated. Overall, I would give Room for a Pony a five-star rating and I can't wait to come back for more delicious coffee and food!

Sides for brekkie are about $7 a pop bit when your dish is served, they definitely compensate with the volume of food that they give you. The mushroom with a slight crumb were delish and the coffee was piping hot and smooth

Best eggs Benedict I've ever had, hands down. The ham was salty and delicious, the eggs were poached to perfection, the sourdough was to die for and the burnt hollandaise was better than any I'd ever had before. Coffee was on point too.

Breakfast after a massive night out. Eggs Benedict cooked to perfection. Why I had to ask for bacon instead of ham is beyond me, but the bacon was cooked to crispy perfection. The eggs popped all their yellow goodness all over the bread, and the bread wasn’t over fancy over toasted rubbish. Coffee was great, and service was super friendly and super quick. Loved it

A charming and cosy spot for a meal regardless of the time of the day. Great coffee and delicious food. The Fried Chilli Omelette and Gado Gado both boast amazing flavours, as did the Scrambled Silken Tofu - a most enjoyable meal. Love the coffee too!

Room for a pony is a great restaurant for a dinner with many options to chose from. I like the nachos and the pepperoni pizza. The food came out very fast and was very good. I would recommend to all people. The value for money is very good you get lots of food on each plate.
Overall very nice.

My daughter and I shared 2 pizzas. A Fun Guy and a Bob Brown. Delicious flavours, qualty ingredients and a decent size. We arrived around 12 noon on a Sunday. We were quickly allocated a table despite it already being fairly busy and given menus and water. We didn't have to wait too long before our orders were taken and we had our meal in under half an hour.

Room for a pony was absolutely amazing! The perfect dining experience. The pizza was incredible, with classic wood fire features (thick crust and big sizing). The customer service from the all of the legends was exceptional. So accomodating, so friendly, so delicious! Thank you!!!

What a lovely surprise to finally visit this delightful indoor/outdoor cafe/restaurant.
We popped in for a quick drink this evening & wish we'd had more time to enjoy some fabulous wood-fired pizza. (Next visit will be a must).
A wonderful ambience awaits you as does a team of attentive, friendly, professional staff.

I must add, that generous gas heaters are placed for your comfort around the outdoor tables and, the background music permits conversation to flow easily.

We've been here a few times before for breakfast and it's always been great, came for lunch today and it was still great! Pizzas are a good size, we had 2 to share and took some home, all around a good experience as usual.

Fantastic food, great ambience and friendly staff.

The pizzas were amazing and plenty of beers on tap for a wide choice. We spent a cosy winters night here for dinner and it was excellent.

Loved this place. A sprawling corner block in a very trendy part of Hobart. Seating for all purposes either outside, covered, inside high or low tables. Very friendly staff for a busy Sunday morning and the Bloody Mary was made to perfection. The eggs for both the rosti and scrambled were great. Highly recommend a stop here when you're next in town!

Great pizza, great service, great vibe to this place. Very busy and humming on a Thursday evening, but there were no delays and our pizza was the way it should be - crisp, light crust with just the right amount of topping. Good value, too.

Great place for breakfast, brunch….we tried the spicy omelette and the smash avo. My lord, it was sooooo goooooddd 🤤🤤 especially smash avo, the best 👌🏻 that sourdough from the pigeon whole bakers made it even more delicious 😋
We enjoyed our time here, will be back for sure. Tx

A wonderful place for a Sunday afternoon drink with mates and a bite to eat. We tried their Bob Brown all green pizza. That was an unexpectedly tasty delight. The atmosphere was chill and jovial. A great way to spend my last few hours before my flight.
