Mount Towrong Vineyard

I took my partner here as a surprise lunch and we were really happy and impressed. The service, food and wine was all amazing! The food was authentic, the wine was definitely made with passion and the servers were super friendly. We would definitely come by again if we are close by.

Was massively impressed. We had the 2016 Nebbiolo and it was amazing. The food was excellent, the epitome of simple dishes done absolutely perfectly which is far harder than it sounds. Service and atmosphere were perfect. Will be back.

What a gem! Loved having lunch here for Easter Sunday. Good Italian home cooking with delicious wine - very reasonably priced too. It was a lovely hot day looking out over the vineyards. Architecturally the building is really interesting. Lovely service. Highly recommend.

Delicious antipasto went perfectly with the 2021 Giovanni. Followed with braised lamb, rosemary roasted potatoes with the bold and fulsome 2019 Lagrein. Shared a slice of chocolate tart and fruit tart for dessert which was gone in seconds. In short the food and wines were fantastic. Cosy atmosphere inside with nice views across the vineyard and bush up on the mezzanine level. Warm welcome from the friendly and attentive team. Everyone of us left satisfied and smiling. Thank you for a great autumn lunch. We'll be back.

I had my 40th birthday here, and cannot say how wonderful this venue is. The restaurant and views are just amazing, and Nick and the staff are just fabulous. Definitely the best food and wine in the Macedon region by far, and generally just an excellent winery. Absolutely love Mt Tuwrong.

WOW WOW WOW.Finally after very too long lockdown we had the chance to visit this vineyard.Really good customer service the food and drink come out really quickly. The Nebbiolo red wine is really nice and we took 2 bottles home as well. The antipasto platter is good and they give you home made bread with an amazing EVOO and rock salt we clean up the platter hahaha. Definitely we will come back. Thank you for the amazing experience.

Everything about Mount Towrong is wonderful. The staff are incredibly friendly and genuinely understand the meaning of great customer service. The food is delicious though keep in mind they are share plates, so don't come expecting full meals. And last but by no means least, the wines are fantastic. The nebbiolo is my top pick closely followed by the ribolla gialla. Be sure to have a chat with George, the owner. You can't miss him at the bar. Our favourite place of all. We were blessed to get married in this beautiful place. George and his team are the best. It is like our second home. We had the best time. Amazing food, amazing wines and brilliant people. Thes best!

The team led by Nick were exceptional- Friendly, intuitive and knowledgeable. His team were engaged and appeared to really enjoy working at the Cellar Door. We throughly enjoyed the food, most notably the Chorizo/Borlotti Beans dish. A perfect crisp afternoon in the ranges, thankful this is a dog friendly venue- looking forward to our next visit.

How amazing gin and wine they have!!! I really fell in love with wonderful gin taste. All three different gin had great and smooth tasting. The best customer service was another good point of this winery. Unfortunately, we arrived a bit late and food service was closed. I really keen to taste their food menu as well. I highly recommended this place and will definitely return to taste and buy more gin and wine when it’s finished.

Beautiful winery in the Macedon Ranges. Perfect for any special occasion. We ordered the grazing board after the wine tasting, it was just delicious! Make sure you sample the gin... highly recommended!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff who made me feel welcome and attended to my every need throughout the meal. The menu was diverse, and the food was perfectly prepared, with every dish expertly crafted and bursting with flavour.

What truly sets Mt Towrong apart, however, is the breathtaking view. Overall, I cannot recommend Mt Towrong highly enough.
