Visiting the camel’s hump view site was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with breathtaking vistas that stretched as far as the eye could see. The serene ambiance combined with the crisp mountain air made for an unforgettable experience. The trails were well-maintained, offering scenic hikes for adventurers of all levels. The walk is bit high slope so highly recommend to take your water bottles filled. Whether you're a nature enthusiast or simply seeking tranquility amidst stunning landscapes, this mountain view site is a must-visit destination. Five stars without a doubt!

Fantastic view of the entire area and a great spot to hike to, barely a 10-15 min walk from the car park. A slightly steep climb, so be prepared for burning calves. However, the view at the top is worth every bit!

The best viewing point on Mt Macedon better than the Cross where the trees now block the view. And the Trading Post down the hill offers an excellent range of food.

Great summit with very short and easy walk from the car park. Only 1.2km return. Around 15-20 mins return. Suitable for all ages. Lots of people take their dogs here too.
Also have rock climbing section in the left hand side before the summit viewing platform.
A great place for sunrise or sunset. And yes, can do star glazing at night too.
For me, always a truly special and memorable place.

Great area for hiking, and less than 2 hours from boronia.. the lookout point itself is a relatively steep but quick 15 min walk from the camels hump carpark and with a half way bench to sit down so really for most ppl! We trekked all over the place after being at the back wall so we actually found it a different way rather than from the carpark.

Nice walk up to the summit lookout to take in the fabulous view, even on a cloudy day. The water trickling down the grooves of the track after it's been raining is very pretty.

We were looking for an easy-ish walking track to go with our senior dogs! We picked the wrong day to go so the weather wasn’t good so we couldn’t see much from the lookout but it was a good dog friendly walking track. We would visit again to see the proper view from this place but overall it was a quick walk which wasn’t too difficult!

Amazing place really all it is is a look out with amazing views. When you get to the actual look out tower don’t forget to walk the last 100 meters past the tower to the best look out . For the keen hiker you can start your walk in the town ship of Macedon walk your up though the bush to the memorial cross and then across to the camels hump.about a 30 k walk or for the others park in the car park and walk the kilometre up to the look out . In winter it can snow and is not wheel chair or disable friendly

Short walk from car park. Went to try and see C2023 comet but clouded over. Really nice view to the north of Hanging Rock.

If you blink you will miss this wonderful site. Can be seen for miles when you drive along the flat country roads but when you're up there its like being in heaven. Its a short work from the cars park and if wet can be extremely dangerous if you wonder off the track and onto the rocks.

Its a fabulous place if you like exploring and nature.

No toilets and please take your rubbish home.

Good climb up the hill. 15- 20 minutes walk if you take the path to the right of the board. Beautiful view up at the platform. Really worth the walk.

Very nice walk. Just beware of the signs in the area. There are few other walking trails nearby so ensure you go on the right one.

A nice short sharp walk. Whilst steep my father (87) managed to still get to the top, slow and steady. A decent view from the top is the reward
