Mount Macedon Winery, Restaurant & Cellar Door

Wonderful food, service and scenery. The restaurant is beautiful, we had a long 3 hour 3 course lunch, there was no pressure to move on, the staff drew the course out so we could relax, the wine was superb, and the food, perfect portions and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant when in the Macedon ranges.

Mount Macedon Winery hosted my wedding in February and I couldn’t have asked for a better night, location and service. The food was irresistible and I can’t praise Anthony who works there more highly. The views are impeccable and I had the most memorable night of my life. I highly recommend this venue.

It was a delight to share time with family and friends at the UUMM restaurant. The staff were attentive and the service was fabulous. The food and wine were just right and added to a wonderful day enjoyed by us all. We will be back to visit the cellar door which looks very inviting too. Thank you

Delicious food, fabulous service, beautiful location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was beautifully presented and tasted perfect. The setting sun and the mob of kangaroos on the hill just added to the whole experience.

A family member in the UK bought us a thank you voucher for lunch here. What a find! The lunch was lovely, staff friendly and the restaurant deck looks out onto open countryside. There’s also nature reserve just on the road in .. perfect for a walk if looking for an ideal “outing” for your visitors 😊

Had a great lunch at the cellar door today with a couple glasses of their Cuvée which was rightful. Amazing winery, great location with sweeping views of Mt Macedon.

Lunch was great, had a charcuterie plattter that consisted of cold cuts, rillette, pickles, brisket and some nice toasted sourdough, as well as a cheese platter with some crackers.

A great way to enjoy lunch on a forgoes Melbourne day paired with some nice sparkling. Will be back.

We had a great day yesterday and is the second time we have been to your restaurant. Love the surrounds and the food was great and so was the local beer and wine. Have had great feedback from my friends today, some I had not seen for 50 years complimenting me on my venue choice. Only slight thing I would mention was the coffee making may need a bit of a tweak.

We held our wedding at MMW in October 2023 and can't compliment the venue and the team enough.

The entire team were so kind, professional and accommodating of any requests we made. They attention to detail by the events staff made our planning process seamless and as stress free as possible.

We have had so many compliments from our guests on the venue, the staff and especially the food, which was absolutely amazing!!

MMW will forever hold a special place in our hearts, thank you!

We had our first wedding anniversary lunch here.
The experience was magical :) The service was full of warmth and exuberance.
That complimentary treat of delicious chocolates with wine said how much they care about their customers.

Went celibrat a birthday. Place is very authentic look neat and tidy. Food was amazing. Never had fish starter like that before. Staff very friendly and very attentive.

My husband and our two girls (4yr old and 4 months) loved this place! We lunched at Uuumm restaurant and wow - quality food and top notch service. Awesome that they had a kids meal … great place to spend the day with family.

Beautiful location, views, cute cows, friendly staff, fantastic wine and probably the best steak I've ever had (no, seriously - this tops anything I've tried in Europe or Asia or anywhere else in Aus).

Fantastic restaurant to come here for a 3 course dinner. Duck breast and Pork Belly for entrees, Eye fillet and Lamb rump for mains had the right combination of crispy skin, tender meat and lots of tasty sauce. Basque Cheesecake for dessert was out if this world! Wonderful combination of textures sorbet, cheese, meringue and crumble. Generous portions, beautiful location and friendly staff. Suggest more seamless upbeat background music to enhance the quiet ambience. Overall a perfect night out.

Delicious and generous servings of beautiful combination of flavours within a stylish restaurant space. The views of the vineyard with the mountains in the background through the enormous picture windows just add to the experience. The staff were friendly and attentive and gave the birthday girl a free glass of bubbles which was a nice touch. Highly recommend.

We had an absolutely delicious Sunday lunch for 6. Everything was excellent; service, ambience, food. We could not fault anything - will certainly be back. What a gorgeous setting.

In the kitchen. Add the wine, happy atmosphere with several family groups celebrating whatever (as were we) and couples dining, we had the best time, much enjoyed. We’ll be back I know.

First nice and mild day in ages, so we decided to finally go to one of our local wineries for lunch today, which is only a 20 minute drive from home in Kyneton.

What a great choice Mount Macedon Winery was!

Beautiful setting from inside restaurant nestled below Mt Macedon, along with lovely warm, friendly and attentive staff, great wine (we opted for their 2022 MMW Estate Grown Pinot Noir), and one of the best 3 course lunches we’ve had in awhile 🤤👏🏼

We both thought the dishes were very well portioned (and spaced for further enjoyment) for the price, when compared with some of restaurants and bistros we’ve eaten at in nearby Woodend and Kyneton.

It certainly ticked all the boxes and we can very highly recommend.

Had a great intergenerational celebration for my Mother's 80th, lovely food, quite good value and gorgeous setting. Would recommend it. Was a little noisy but was a busy Sunday lunch.

Very nice restaurant at the winery and the food was so delicious.
We had trout and smoked duck breasts as starters and steak as main. All dishes was very nice prepared and served.
