Cameron Lodge Cottage and Gardens

In addtion to the b&b side of the cottage and garden, Ann occasionally hosts a wedding in her beautiful garden. Me and my loveley new wife were lucky enough to share our day with our friends and families here. Ann, Steve and Alicia spent two days helping us set up, they supported and assisted with every wacky idea we had, and we are sure that the only reason the day itself went so well us because they were there in the background like ninjas, running around making sure everything happened as it was meant to. Everyone commented on the beautiful location and what a unique wedding it was. It was everything we had hoped for and a big part of that was due to the team at Cameron Lodge.

As part of the package we stayed at the cottage the night before and after and I can honestly say there are cheaper places to spend a weekend but nowhere I have been seen or dreamt of would be the same as a weekend at Cameron Lodge. Less than an hour away from Melbourne you can wake up in the morning and go for a walk in the garden and feel truly alone and at peace. The gardens are huge and full of plant and animal life and the main road through Macendon at the front gate seems miles away as all you can hear is birds chirping, twigs crackling and leaves rustling. If you only do it once in your life its worth it and the only negative feeling in your body will be jealousy for the peoeple who get to wake up here every morning.

Steve was very welcoming and very well informed about the history of Cameron Lodge. Perfect for a weekend getaway.
