Great vibes with friendly staff, nice place to have a mid mountain break and dry yourself off and your things if you can secure a place in front of the heaters. Definitely wouldn't visit Thredbo without stopping in

Awesome place for a bite to eat. Nice view, yummy food (goulash was a highlight), best hot chocolate on the mountain, and also a bar there if you fancy a drink. Right next to a nice tree run

It's a different feel, once entered inside, can't be done without passion. Kudos to the team

By far my favourite alpine bar in Australia. Limited selection of food but, great selection of beers for the snow and schnapps to go along with the fantastic après vibe. The views of the snow covered mountain from the windows when it's cold or the outside deck are sensational.

Absolutely awesome place to come for lunch and drinks. The fire is always beautiful to come inside to and warm up after a hard day skiing or boarding. The food is great, especially the Hungarian Goulash and the gourmet hotdogs. It has lovely wooded interior and has a really great atmosphere. Easily the best food spot on the mountain. 6 Stars!!

Top food and value for money on the mountain. Fried gyoza and soft shell crab kimchi hot dog were fantastic. Great vista to boot. Staff friendly and helpful.

Black Sallees is a great place for a quick bite to eat or a drink. It's definitely ski in and ski out and the views are spectacular. I have always found the people there to be very friendly and easy to talk with. Really worth a visit for a casual lunch or break for a coffee or whatever you drink.

Kylie and Sandy ( the captain) are the best hosts. The atmosphere is the fun. Everyone is happy and enjoying the mountain. The food is the best. Wouldn't spend my $ anywhere else

Great place to get a beer with good views of the slopes. Food was super quick to come out. Prices are what you expect to pay on the mountain.

Was awesome, got me down a black diamond run with no problem at all. Highly recommended fire and ice shots - skull and such in the fresh mountain air then hold for 3 seconds.

Food, service , drinks all excellent. We stopped in for lunch on a pretty bleak day on the mountain, a welcome relief from the elements.

These days there are very few places in Thredbo where you can get good food, good service, and good views at reasonable prices. In fact only two and Black Sallees is one of them.
