Restaurant Como

Had a lovely 10 course dinner and they were amazingly accomodating with my food intolerance. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. Quality of all the dishes were beautifully presented and well balanced. The citrus gels were probably my favourite elements throughout, a beautiful and bright element!

What an experience!

We came here for my husband’s birthday and had an excellent meal with impeccable service. Thank you to Leon, Adam, Jodie, Jasmine and Isobel for looking after us so well.

Every dish was delicious and with fun flavours and quality ingredients. The wine pairings were super fantastic and well picked.

Cosy and classy interiors and a wonderful experience overall. Will have to visit again!

What a surprising treat to stumble across this restaurant! The food is up there with one of the best food experiences of our lives. Such friendly professional service and deliciously beautiful food!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. This place was amazing! We ordered the 10 meal degustation and when I say every single meal was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavour, and so so fulfilling.. I mean it! The wine!!! Where do I start! The wine that they have set to compliment each of the meals was beyond exquisite. The staff was amazing, the environment was amazing! And we have not tasted anything as great as the food that has been made at this restaurant. I don't know what kind of magic they are doing at this place. But I'm here for it!

Spectacular ! Fine Dining at it's absolute best !! A must when visiting the region. We had the 10 Course Degustation, it was without a doubt one of the best meal's we've ever had. Every Course explained in detail, flavours & textures all executed perfectly. Fantastic service from start to finish.

Stumbled onto this resturant by accident and we were not disappointed. The food, atmosphere and service was amazing.

What an amazing dining experience! The staff were wonderful with the perfect level of interaction that made you feel special as well as able to enjoy an intimate meal. The food was equally amazing and I'd recommend the matching wines option - of course make sure you don't drive!

Can't wait for an excuse to go back!

My praise for this establishment couldn't be higher. A rocky start due to our table being missed at the start of the night, but very quickly overlooked due to the impeccable service and sublime food.

It was an absolute treat to be welcomed by Jodi and her floor staff into their home and treated to some of the best food my partner and I have had in a long time courtesy of Adam - her partner - and his kitchen team.

Adam is a stunning chef, having created two beautiful set menus that align perfectly with Jodis own wine pairings. The range of both Australian and international wines are superb and create a stunning dinning journey. Adams scallops and pork belly would have to have been our highlights.

The over all atmosphere was quaint and cozy but refined and elegant at the same time. The light jazz music coupled with the ambience and stunning customer service provided by Jodi and her team created a wonderful guest experience.

My partner and I celebrated our 9 year anniversary here and the small little token at the end of the evening (as seen from photos) shows they go above and beyond for their guests to make the most memorable dining experiences imagineable.

I can't thank the both of them enough and we look forward to coming back next year to crack the 10 course set for our 10 year anniversary!

Lovely fine dining restaurant in the Blue Mountains. Warm and attentive service. Elegant and complex food in the degustation menu with perfectly matched wines. A 10/10 for most people but just a little too restrained for me. I wanted a bit more oomph in the flavour and more duck in the duck dish, two scallops not just one, more sauce on the dessert; so 9.5 from me.

6 course degustation lunch with wine pairing first weekend post- Covid. Just great! Opened the restaurant for just 4 bookings, our table of 2 and another. Felt like we had our own private restaurant. Lovely ambience, friendly gracious service, tasty interesting food with generous servings matched with good Aussie wines- couldn’t ask for anything more, very happy. We hope they do well, they deserve the support.

Twice now in 2015 and 2017. Equally supreme standard of varied tasting menus. Choose the more expensive wine flight. Chef and his wife serving and choosing the food and wine for your meal are beyond exception. Strange setting but internally very personal. Excellent choice. Don't give it a miss if you're anywhere near.

This is a gem in an unexpected place. The food is exceptional and the service excellent. They accommodate dietary restrictions without a fuss even though it's a degustation menu. Been here twice in the last year for special occasions even though it's a long way from home. The matching wines are sensational also.
There is no view but the food more than makes up for it.

It was by far the best service we have ever received at a restaurant. Monique and her team last night were amazing and made us feel very special. My husband and I have dined at Aria, Quay, Rockpool, Bennelong and several other places in the city but have not come across such a friendly team who genuinely seem to love their jobs. The food was brilliant and great atmosphere. Thank you for an amazing night!

I'm a meat and potato kind of guy. So naturally, degustation menus are the last thing i choose. BUT! My wifes birthday dinner at restaurant Como meant that i would have to step outside my comfort zone. After letting the super friendly staff know about my special "dietary requirements" i was put at ease. Every plate exceeded my expectations and tasted fantastic.
A great food experience magnified by excellent staff.

The degustation menu was fantastic. I have yet to have chicken that was as succulent as what I had here.

The wines and wine experts on hand where amazing and for someone with little knowledge of wine put up with my questions and actually taught me some new things!

When it comes to food, I'm usually hard to please. After all, I'm spoilt with great food both at home and when dining out. However, Como is a different world altogether. From the unassuming facade and location (yes, it's overlooking a carpark) and the modestly furnished restaurant's interior, you could be forgiven for making the assumption that this is just another dive. I certainly made that judgement on my first visit.
Boy was I wrong on all levels!
The food is amazing, sensational, fabulous! I can use all the other superlatives in the book and still come short of describing the out-of-this-world dining experience in this 2-hatted restaurant.
My second visit recently was an even better experience. The food is spectacular and the wine and champagne are simply divine! I don't eat meat except seafood and the staff made my version of the degustation the envy of the group!
From the seared scallops to the mouth-watering desserts, Como is it for me. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants of all times! Perfect food, impeccable service and the best selection of wines, be prepared to be blown away!

I am a harsh critic, and did not expect much from this little, very much out of the way, restaurant. The decor is... well... rustic. But don't let looks fool you! I still vividly remember my fist taste of their degustation set - artichoke soup with truffle - about four years ago. In terms of food, Commo is one of the best, most inventive restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of visiting, anywhere in the world. Mind blowing. A foodie's hidden treasure. Book well ahead and definitely put yourself in the chef's hands with the degustation (and wine!) set.

Took my wife here for our anniversary and discovered excellence in food. The chef knows how to make his food talk to you. Every bite will be ecstasy. No wonder they are hatted.

The eight course degustation menu was accomplished, with delicious and diverse courses, and the staff are knowledgeable and very friendly. A little hard to find but truly is a hidden gem.
